One summer's day in 1984, teenage runaway Holly Sykes encounters a strange woman who offers a small kindness in exchange for 'asylum'. Decades will pass before Holly understands what sort of asylum the woman was seeking.… The Bone Clocks follows Holly's life: not so far out of the ordinary, yet punctuated by flashes of precognition, visits from people who emerge from thin air, and brief lapses in the laws of reality.

Such an amazing, heartbreaking, uplifting, and rememberable book. Definitely a story I will want to return to. Mitchell's books always have the same effect on me, in the beginning it takes a moment to get into the story but once it happens I don't wanna stop. He has a way of creating such wonderful and realistic characters. Recommended.

Code Name Verity is a compelling, emotionally rich story with universal themes of friendship and loyalty, heroism and bravery. Two young women from totally different backgrounds are thrown together during World War II: one a working-class girl from Manchester, the other a Scottish aristocrat, one a pilot, the other a wireless operator. Yet whenever their paths cross, they complement each other perfectly and before long become devoted friends. But then a vital mission goes wrong....

This book is amazing. The story, the characters, events, plot, narration, describtion, the audio narrators.. Just incredible. Made me laugh and cry, it's true as cliché as it is. Just amazing. Even tho I know Julie and Maddy aren't real, I really hope they'd be. I've just finished but I want to start all over.
Ok that's it, can't say anything more about this. Everyone should read this. I'm definitely getting a hard cover version, I need to own this.
