Hidden amongst the week characters are interesting plot. Unfortunately getting to the story and mysteries is nearly impossible with the mundane and trite characters. I keep hoping for some more character development, that just doesn’t happen and the main characters are too weak to support the books

Would you try another book from Joseph Finder and/or Steven Kearney?

Yes, I have enjoined books by this author before.

What was most disappointing about Joseph Finder’s story?

Supposedly intelligent protagonist obtuse to his situation takes stupid action and steps after stupid steps.

Which character – as performed by Steven Kearney – was your favorite?

Narration and voice was solid, seemed accurate portrayal of character Rick.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Story is interesting but actions of main character distracts, lack of fight or flight instincts.

What did you like best about Tom Clancy's Op-Center: Into the Fire? What did you like least?

A good balance of plausible circumstances and modern military problem resolution; however, not up to sophisticated Clancy story plots and the narrator's cadence was so and off.

What did you like best about this story?

Clancy was the master of techno thrill, and this book accomplished this in spots.

Would you be willing to try another one of Henry Leyva’s performances?

Not if I can help it.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Not likely, missed a strong central character.

"You can leave the army, but the army doesn’t leave you. Not always. Not completely," notes Jack Reacher - and sure enough, the retired military cop is soon pulled back into service. This time, for the State Department and the CIA. Someone has taken a shot at the president of France in the City of Light. The bullet was American. The distance between the gunman and the target was exceptional. How many snipers can shoot from three-quarters of a mile with total confidence? Very few, but John Kott - an American marksman gone bad - is one of them...

Yes, anxiously waiting the next offering of Lee Child.

Which character – as performed by Dick Hill – was your favorite?

Jack Reacher, but he does a solid job of portraying characters in a believable style.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Reacher, wrong place, right time.

But this mystery pales in comparison to the one he’s about to be called on to solve. Newly reassigned to a Special Projects squad he didn’t even know existed, he’s sent to a murder scene far up in the hills of Hollywood Division. There is no body, only an unidentified head lying on the floor of a house.

Unlikable main character, lazy and stupid with no apparent strength.

No, and honestly I find the author's books very hit and miss, really like some but this was very disappointing.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Steven Kearney?

Narration was ok

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Suspicion?

Beginning, you felt the groundwork should have been much faster. I am not a writer so I will not presume to write but the book and characters did not draw me in.

Any additional comments?

Stronger main character.
