Alex Bishop is your typical cowboy. Charming, sexy, and wears a panty-melting smirk. Working on the ranch helped build his solid eight-pack and smoking body. He's every girl's wet fantasy and he knows it too. Alex doesn't follow the rules of your typical playboy bachelor. After wining and dining his dates and giving them the best night of their lives, he always sends flowers and calls the next day - even if it's to say, let's just be friends. His mama taught him manners after all and his southern blood knows how to be a gentleman.

I had the pleasure of reading this book when it was released and LOVED it so much that I decided to listen to it when the audio was released. Ms. Peachwood and Mr. Snow NAILED the characters and brought an entirely new enjoyment to this book.

Well, they've done it again. This book is an outstanding start to a new series by the duo known as Kennedy Fox. And this time we get cowboys with tight jeans and oh my goodness I was captivated the moment I started this book.

It starts off with a Prologue that almost broke me. I wasn't expecting it that's for sure, and it totally sets the tone of who River is and the whys of how she lives her life. My heart literally hurt for her and I absolutely cried.

For all intents and purposes River and Alex should have never met, but when they both end up in Key West for two weeks of fun in the sun and hopefully some sexy times between the sheets, and while there's an initial attraction between them, she has no patience for Alex's cheesy pickup lines. But one day, when River comes to the aid of Alex and his best friend Dylan they just can't fight their crazy chemistry.

"Alex looks at me with so much fire in his eyes, it almost burns my skin."

And so begins two weeks of some of the best and sexiest weeks either of them have ever experienced. And what was supposed to be a friends with benefits kind of thing, real feelings begin to be felt. I could feel how our H/h felt for each other. They've both had such a rough go round in the romance arena so to find someone that they connected with on a visceral level was beautiful.

Fast forward a few months and River has come to Texas to see Alex and she's got a surprise for him! I absolutely LOVED how he didn't question her and how he was not afraid to admit his feelings this time. This book had so much levity while also being dirty and sexy at the same time. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't just them jumping back in bed together. I admired Alex so much more because he was willing to do whatever it takes to make this work.

Along the way we meet the entire Bishop family and all their dynamics. And when the Bishop boys are involved you know there's soon to be some raucous fun! The fact that this family opens their arms to River, after a rough start, made me fall in love with all the Bishops. It's clear who runs this family and it's not who you think it is!

In the end, this book is exactly what I was hoping it was going to be. Kennedy Fox knows how to deliver a book with a punch that drew me, had me simmering and then gave me all the emotions plus some.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

By now you’re aware of how much I love Ms. Blakely and all her books. I mean how can I not love her stories? They’re funny, smart, sometimes quirky, sexy and oh so swoony!!! And this is why even after I've read the book, I gravitate towards her ebooks because it brings her stories to life in an entirely new way. This book is no different. Mr. East and Ms. Grant are fabulous in their roles as Christian and Elise...I swooned all over again while absorbing their words!

Elise and Christian were never meant to be. She’s an American living in Paris visiting Copenhagen for a long weekend, and he’s a Brit living in Copenhagen after an early retirement and he has a love of doing handstands on the dock outside his home….buck naked!!! And this is how our H/h meet….sort of…

Through a miscommunication they don’t meet up before leaving Denmark, but make that connection when he ends up in Paris and the attraction that Elise thought would be there is sizzling hot so they make an arrangement to be “part-time lovers.” But there’s so much more to their connection. The problem is that neither wants to admit it to the other for fear of getting hurt.

Things become a little more complicated when Christian convinces Elise to marry him to save his family’s business. So what starts out as fun and sexy times, becomes a love that neither of them was expecting….
“Elise sneaked up on me. I thought we were only fun and games when we started, but then, unexpectedly, she took my heart. She can keep it. She’s the only one who gets to have it.”
Having the pleasure of seeing these two weave their way to a great love story was such a joy. They definitely keep each other on their toes and as things progress there are some things said that could potentially end their love story. But we all know Ms. Blakely wouldn’t do that to us.

There’s nothing about this book I didn’t love. Once again, Ms. Blakely has delivered a story that is one that I connected with immediately. It’s setting allows us to see get glimpses of a couple of my favorite characters and makes me fall in love with love again and again!!!

I’ve been consumed by this series from the minute I started this series. In this final book of the series, Ms. Robert has completely and totally upped her game as a romantic suspense author. I literally had heart palpitations and a fluttering stomach with each horrifying detail we experienced both in Lei and Emma’s memories of the Sorority Row Murders in which they were the only survivors, but with the new murders taking place that are seemingly almost identical to that horrifying night….or are they.

Soon the BAU sends agents Dante and Clark to their tiny town to investigate what’s really going on. There are some twist and turns that our story takes that had me gasping with the intensity of the situation these girls live in. To make things just that much more interesting, Lei and her cadaver dog Saul help the police find victims that have gone missing while Emma searches the dark-net to ensure that each missing person isn’t left behind.

There’s a draw between Dante and Lei but given the case and the fear that Lei has lived with for the last twelve years, there’s obstacles in their way that could prevent them from exploring their attraction. The least of which is the reliance both Emma and Lei have on each other. While to some this might be considered suffocating, given what’s happened to them, it’s completely understandable.

As the story progresses, things become incredibly intense and there’s new evidence that is shocking and had me wide-eyed and gasping because it puts an entirely new light on what’s happened in the past.

Here’s what I know, this book is on the same level as some of the best suspense writers out there and with Ms. Robert’s ability to draw the reader in with her attention to the minutest details of each scene we NEVER see the “who did it” coming….at least I didn’t! This is a book that makes you want to double and triple check your doors and windows because you just never know who’s watching you!!!

The narration on this book is top notch. Ms. Robins does an incredible job of switching characters and giving each of them their own individual personalities making the listening experience that much more intense and satisfying.

Holy Wowza!!!! I’ve read a lot of romantic suspense books in my time and like to think I can have an inkling of “who did it” before getting to the end of the book. Yeah, not so much this time. I literally sat there slack jawed when the unsub was revealed. I NEVER saw this coming EVER!!!

Ms. Robert has written a book that is gripping in it’s terror of what’s happening in Glacier National Park. The character development and scene setting down to the hour of each day is stellar and so detailed that I felt like I was in the BAU for the FBI. Vic and Maggie used to be partners until Maggie, fresh out of the Academy and moved west to be a Park Ranger.

There’s a natural draw between Maggie and Vic and what we find out is there was this same pull when they were partners. But things were different back then and with the passage of time, these same roadblocks are no longer in the way. But that’s not the focus of this book. This book is about finding who is committing some very gruesome murders in a beautiful national park. And oh my goodness, the details we get about each murder is almost bone chilling. Hence the reason I never the murderer coming!!

I can’t give too much more because that would result in giving something away and that would ruin the experience of listening to this book for you. And while we’re talking about listening, the narrator for this book, Carly Robbins is phenomenal with this book. Her ability to convey the feelings of each character drew me right into the book and I was captivated from beginning to end!

I originally read this book but I'm so in love with the way Ms. Rowe and Mr. Lane narrate her books I just couldn't help myself from listening to this newest book. It allows me to experience so many more emotions because their voices bring a level of depth to each of the characters.

When you start crying in the first chapter of book you know you're in for a wild ride. And that's exactly what happened to me when I started this beautifully written story by Ms. Rowe. Colby Morgan is the oldest of the Morgan crew and the one all the siblings go to when they're happy, sad, angry or in love. And for this story, Colby is the one who needs them in oh so many ways.

This book starts off with a bang and I literally thought I was broken just reading it. The level of detail that we're given with Colby's job of being a firefighter literally made me feel like I was in the heat of a fire with him. I could feel my lungs constricting and I was almost gasping for breath. And I felt down to my soul the pain the entire family is suffering when the unthinkable happens.

While this is playing out, we get some of Lydia's story and that too had my heart breaking. This woman has suffered in so many ways and really is not living....until Colby Morgan comes barreling into his life. And when these two meet it's literally them both saving each other.

I'm being extremely vague with this review because there is so much to this story and it really needs to be experienced by diving head first into this book. When I emerged on the others side after finishing this book, I had an even deeper love for all things Morgan family related. The care and love that Ms. Rowe put into this story could be felt with every single word. I was moved unlike any book I've ever read. She is so charismatic with her writing that I will truly never be the same after reading a love story that is magnetic. I just couldn't help but love Colby and Lydia and the pain they each go through to find a love that truly proves that love conquers all!

I have been a fan of S.r. Grey's for quite a while now and I can say unabashedly that each book she publishes I think is my favorite by her. I can unequivocally say, the other books have been moved a little to almost favorites as The After of Us has now moved into the top position. Thanks to the excellent narration this book came to life for me even more than when I read the words!!

I had all the feels with this book and there were a few times I was brought to tears by this story, but in a good way. This is the story of Will Gartner, his daughter Lily (whom he's just discovered is his daughter) and Emma Metzger, the girl from his hometown that he had a crush on when they were younger.

When this book starts. Will has just graduated from college, has sweet new ride courtesy of his mom and is getting ready to head to NYC for the job of a lifetime or so he thinks. All this changes the night before he's to leave when his ex-girlfriend from high school, Cass shows up with 5 year old Lily in tow. When they were together, Will and Cassie started to go down the road of drugs and alcohol and while Will got out of that world, unfortunately, Cassie did not and it sucked her in even deeper.
Hence the reason, Will is just now learning of Lily's existence. Cassie is doing the one and only unselfish thing she's ever done, by giving Lily to Will.

Well this throws all of Will's plans out the window and he does the one thing he thinks is the answer, he and Lily go to Harmony Creek, Ohio which is where his brother, Chase and his wife Kay live with their two children Jack and Sarah. Will thinks he can just "drop" Lily off and go to NYC to get everything setup for Lily to join him. What he wasn't expecting was how much he's already fallen under Lily's spell....

“Lily sounds so forlorn that something in me swells. I don't know how to explain it, but it's like my daughter's happiness is suddenly tied to my happiness. Weird. All I know is I really want Lily to feel accepted."

And so the adventure of getting to know what kind of man and father Will Gartner is begins....

Watching Will interact with Lily and how much she has soaked into his heart and soul was truly beautiful. Ms. Grey did an amazing job of drawing the pictures with her words allowing me to picture all the players in this book.

Especially little Miss Lily. I fell in love with this little girl. What I loved even more was how Will changed once he was in Harmony Creek and began to explore what it would be like to give up what he thinks is his "dream job." In reality, he has other dreams that if he listened to his heart he'd realize everything he's looking for is right in front of him.

Speaking of which, this is where Emma comes into play. She's Lily's pre-school teacher and she's never forgotten Will Gartner and how much she liked him. They've both changed since they last saw each other and their attraction is still there. Of course, Emma doesn't want to take that leap with him because he's planning on leaving and that's just not something she wants to entertain. But that doesn't stop her from trying to make Will's dream come true. She's quite ingenious in her methods...gotta love a woman who goes after what she really wants. Because as much as she's doing this for Will, she's doing it for her too.

She's definitely not the shy and quiet type of woman when it comes to having sex...she's quite the participant that's for sure. In one particularly hot and steamy scene Emma comes to a realization....

“This is the after of us from before, who we were, and we are becoming.”

As the book progresses, the story moves with such grace and ease that I fell more in love with these characters and what they mean to each other and how their lives could potentially be their forever.

Ms. Grey has a way with her words that draws you into the heart of the story which allows you to really "be there."

This book is pure Lauren Blakely PERFECTION!!! The minute I started this newest book by one of my favorite authors I could literally feel myself being transported to Paris. This is all thanks to the very minute attention to detail of all things Paris. The colors of the doors, the mist in the air, the boulangeries on every street corner, I was in Paris with Griffin and Joy.

Joy has moved to Paris for an amazing career opportunity and while she's been taking French lessons, she still finds the need for an interpreter and queue Griffin a Brit working in Paris. Their first meeting was truly a "meet cute." I found myself swooning from the get go there was also some major chemistry oozing out of my speakers when they spoke too....yes I listened to this book rather than reading it and for me this made my experience gold medal worthy....the narrators were truly magnificent. Richard Armitage and Grace Grant are EVERYTHING I look for in an audiobook.

There's some secrets our H/h are hiding, and there's one that particularly tugged at my heart having my eyes tear up. I could feel the anguish coming through each word. But finding the other part of your soul helps heal those things that the character felt so much pressure to uphold.

I especially loved how Joy found herself and who she's meant to be while living and breathing all things Paris. Her vibrancy was smile inducing with every word she spoke. There's a giddiness about her and how she's really embracing her new life. A particular scene that struck me when Joy was looking at flats in the building she's going to live in and her "more windows" just filled me with so much happiness.

What this all comes down to is that this book has eclipsed all of Ms. Blakely's books for me and this is a surprising statement given my over abundance of love for Clay and Julia...if you're a fan of Ms. Blakely you'll completely understand how monumental this statement is for me.

Thank you Ms. Blakely for transporting me to all the wonders of Paris.

Benny and Eliza are two people that would never cross paths given that she's the daughter of his coach and is basically off limits. But Benny is out on a mission to get his Coach back and what better way to do that than get involved with his daughter?

Well, he gets more than he bargained for with Eliza in oh so many ways and once these two start down a path, it becomes so much more than either of them thought possible. Eliza is hiding a pretty significant part of her life and some of the stories she comes up with had me rolling while reading this book.... just wait, you'll see what I mean.

This story really allows our H/h to grow not only individually but as a couple and seeing this made my heart feel all the warm fuzzies. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely not a smooth journey they take, but the love they find is one that will be for a lifetime!!!

I had the pleasure of reading this book before listening to it and below is my review of the book itself. I loved hearing this story come to life and the way Ms. Marks was able to embody both Brent and Aubrey!!!

This book was such a needed reprieve from the seriousness of some of the other books I've recently read. It was lighthearted and funny and the chemistry between Brent and Aubrey was oozing off the pages even though they didn't want to admit it to each other.

The book starts a couple of days before Aubrey is to start a new assignment as a life coach to a new client that she knows nothing about, except that he or she is a celebrity of some type. Instead of getting ready for this oh so important assignment, she's convinced by sister to go to a party that's being thrown several miles from her house so Aubrey can relax and let go so to speak. And let go she does with some headache inducing consequences!

And those consequences show up the next day in Vegas when Aubrey meets her new client! I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did while reading this book! There's a particular scene when Aubrey has decided to use some recent purchases that result in glowing lights, embarrassment and letting the whole world, or a particular person, know how you feel about them and not on purpose!!!

Brent and Aubrey, even with their differences bring out the best in each other and they both need to remember there's more to life than work, work, work! Pick this book up for a hot, sexy and funny read that'll make you smile from beginning to end!
