Gabriel Carter is the biggest, cockiest asshole I've ever met. He's a six-foot-three ex-baseball player with sexy muscles and smoldering looks that turn my body into a traitorous mess. Did I mention he's also the reason business at my family's hotel is quickly going down the drain? I shouldn't want him, but try explaining that to my body. Especially after he proposes a business deal to me that will be mutually rewarding - both financially and sexually. Sleep with the enemy? Nah, I'll just marry the bastard instead.

I enjoyed this novella, it was short and just enough. A perfect amount of sweet and sassy! I loved Maggie and Gabe, they are so cute and their chemistry is off the charts! The narration is really good! The distinction between male and female is well done.

Scar Walker, professional football player and ex Navy Seal, only wanted to focus on getting his gym built for military vets while he was in San Diego. He didn’t want to take crap from his brother, he didn’t want to deal with a lippy waitress, and he really didn’t want random people calling him on the phone. Shayla Castle came to San Diego to finally live out her childhood dream. When she accidentally calls the mysterious phone number left on her table while waitressing, she never anticipated it would be the handsome jerkface soldier who chewed her out that morning. It confuses her even more when the same jerkface shows up the next night and saves her from an attacker.

I loved this romance! There was not one sexy scene and I didn’t even miss it because this story is so sweet and loving it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside. I loved Scar and Shayla, they are perfect and adorable together! There was the perfect amount of humor and serious and both characters are strong and smart it makes this romance so realistic. The narration was really good! This was my first by James Fouhey and I think he did a fantastic job at bringing both characters to life! This is a super light and fun read I recommend it!

I'm tired of being convicted without evidence all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I'm done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

It's so easy being best friends with a gorgeous, talented, charming guy. Said no woman ever. Except me. My friendship with Miller is a sure thing — he’s my plus one, my emergency contact, and my shoulder to lean on. He’s also been by my side helping me raise one helluva awesome kid who’s the center of my world. Nothing will change our easy breezy friendship. Until I have the bright idea to convince him to start a new band with me. Trouble is, our sizzling chemistry in the recording studio is getting harder to ignore, no matter how risky it might be.

Oaklee Ryan needs a boyfriend, but not for any of the reasons you might think. It’s a simple request. But the girl is not so simple. Oaklee Ryan is a pragmatist. She lives in reality, she deals with facts, and she’s goal-oriented. So when she paid a visit to Jordan Wells asking for a game, calling it, “The Boyfriend Experience”, he thought he knew what she was getting at. Wining, dining, maybe a date to a wedding to appease her meddling mother. Lawton Gabriel took this game as a favor to his friend. It only took him five minutes to regret it. Oaklee Ryan is insane.

I’ve waited for him for over a decade. Loyalties kept us apart. A death set us free. Our passion unleashed, nothing could stop us. Until my world was rocked - my greatest failure leaving me with my greatest heartbreak. Now Maverick is baring his soul to me, begging me to let him in. God knows I want to, but I love him, and that means I’ll do anything to keep him from the pain haunting me. Even if it destroys us both. Someone has been waiting for this perfect moment to strike. Watching me. Studying me.

I was upset with Einstein for keeping her secret for as long as she did, it was not fair to either of them but it did make for a phenomenal story! I devoured this book, and the narration made it 2000x better! I love Jason and Erin, they are two of my favorite and they brought this story to life!! This is most definitely one of my favorites for 2018!!

She started from perfect. A star who shone brighter than the rest. But then fate took it all away. Now she's broken. A beautiful song with a fractured beat. But I'm still on the rise. Chasing a dream that she's already left behind. If I'm lucky, I can find my redemption in the spotlight. Destiny brought us together. Put her in my path. It started with a road trip. But somewhere along the line, it became a journey from here to there. Maybe she can help me. Maybe we can help each other. Maybe music is enough. Maybe. Every story deserves a soundtrack. And ours is epic.

My dreams haunt me. I feel as if I am falling into a pit of impending doom, but even that has not prepared me for the roller-coaster of emotions that flood over me when I'm near Phoenix. I have to keep my distance from her. I need to. It's the only thing I can do to keep from getting hurt again. Staying away from her proves to be a much harder task than I could have ever imagined. She's not only my assistant, but she's half my age.

Nico was a tough nut to crack and had some major trust issues to deal with and Phoenix never strayed and I really loved that. I love every single supporting character so it made it soooo much better!
The duet narration from Kai and Wen was perfection!

My life was always at a simmer… only stewing, never going anywhere. I was left to fend for myself when it came to affection or love, so I learned to go without. I refused to let them see how broken and lonely I was; it was much easier to hide behind a false reality. I didn't want anyone's pity. I didn't need it. Pity wouldn't put food on the table or keep a roof over our heads. That was all me. Now, I have a second chance at a dream long forgotten. It demands hard work and sacrifice - with absolutely no distractions. A recipe I already know all too well, raising a daughter on my own.

Sara went through so much growing up I didn’t think she would recover from it, and I am so glad she did.

The second I saw him walk through the door, I knew he was trouble. A gorgeous rebel with a bad attitude and a huge chip on his shoulder. My heart warned me. I didn't listen. I saw something protective and good beneath the fierce, tough exterior. I fell hard and fast. He promised we'd be together forever and then left me with a broken heart. Now, 10 years later, Jace Jacobs is standing at my door. Sexier than he's ever been. Little do I know, Jace holds the key to everything I've lost and everything that threatens my future. Now, he will either save me or break me all over again....

This story gutted me! I love AL Jackson and she always delivers an amazing story with amazing narrators, however this one had a bit too much repetitive inner monologue… I think it would be perfect if some of that was cut out to make the story a little shorter. With that being said I still loved it so much! my heart broke into pieces for Jace and Faith… so many wasted years it makes me sad.
Most definitely worth the credit! <3
