A fun, light story to listen to, and the plot lines kept me interested. I did feel a bit disappointment when the story ended without further development or resolution in regards to the rift. Thanks to Ms Harper for this story!

A few fun ideas and a quick story that’s engaging enough to enjoy in a single day. Quinto’s narration is enjoyable: 5 stars. I did sometimes struggle to understand who was talking when the dialogue involved more than two characters. Still much preferred over other stories that add repetitive ‘he said’ , and ‘she saids’. This free audible original (included with membership) is a great value add and (when free audio books are available through libraries) justifies the monthly fee of my membership.

I found this story to be surprising, entertaining, and even a little thought provoking. The performer was enjoyable. Easy listening . . . I even laughed out loud a time or two.

I found it strange how a book about war, colonization, and combat could be so generally uplifting. I did tire of the persistent ‘he said’, ‘she said’, ‘Jane said’, ‘Harry said’ references. Still, Very enjoyable and very easy to listen to. Happy holidays
