This is a pretty good start for a new series. I will admit that I am not a reader of YA books so this was a new experience for me. The story was a little slow to start but over all was good in that the world that Ms Ryan created was full of magic ind intrigue. The characters were well written and interesting. Lyric and Rhodes kept my interest throughout the story making me look forward to the next book in the series.
I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator, Bailey Carr, was a first for me as a narrator. She performed the story well and kept me interested in the story from start to finish making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
I would recommend this book to others.

This third and final installment to this series was an enjoyable read as Loch and Ainsley move their relationship from friends to lovers as the pair come to terms with their feelings for each other. Their story was an action packed read that I could not get enough of that had a few twists that I did not see coming. The chemistry between the pair was off the charts when they finally gave into their feelings. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books since they were all close through out the previous books in the series. Loch and Ainsley's story was a great way to end this series and I am a bit sad that the series had to come to an end.
The narration from the audio version of this book that was performed by Maxine Mitchell was performed well making this book an enjoyable listening experience. The narration was clear and she did well differentiating between the different characters.
I would recommend this book and series to others.

I'm late to the party when it comes to this series as I have not read all of the books but this made for a good addition to the series that unfortunately is at the end. I am generally not a fan of paranormal romance but this one kept my interest and made for an enjoyable book. Max and Cheyenne were a well written couple and their story was action packed and there were a few twists that I did not see coming.
I listened to the audio version of this book and it was a good experience. I enjoyed the narration performed by Mr. Snow but I felt that the story would have flowed better from 2 narrators. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

This was a pretty good addition to this series in that this is not your typical second chance love story and it explains Carter and Roxie better that the glimpses that we saw in the previous books in this series. Carter and Roxie grew apart in their marriage and had some issues that they failed to address together showing how communication is key in a relationship. Their story is relate-able in that it a realistic issue that couples can and or have encountered but at times it felt that each character just kept expressing the same things for the first part of the book making it rather depressing to endure especially since it is told from both character's POV. Once they determine that they are going to fight for their relationship, the chemistry between the pair was off the charts and was enjoyable to watch them rekindle their relationship. The narration from Mr. Arden was performed well and was enjoyable to listen to. I will admit that I was surprised that this was narrated by one narrator but it was done well and easy to follow along with. I would recommend this book to others.

This third installment of the Sugar Lake series was a good addition. Talia and Derek's story was a bit different than other teacher/student stories in that Derek was not her student so it was not made into a cliche story line. The story line for the couple was different in that Derek was a care giver for a family member and that is relatable to many readers since his being a care giver is a major part of this book. I felt that both characters were well written in that Talia is rather an introvert and does not step outside of her comfort zone but she does come out more and Derek is more outgoing especially since he is an exotic dancer as well as a bar tender as a means to make money to fulfill his life dreams and goals. I continue to enjoy that in all of Ms. Foster's books, family plays a large roll and has a large importance for its characters. The plot moved along rather quickly and their relationship had an insta-love type feel in that their story moved quickly but it worked for the pair. The narration performed by Mr. Lane was was done well making the story enjoyable to listen to. I would recommend this book to others and I look forward to seeing where this series goes next.

This is the second book in this series and it was such a great read! Bodhi and Bridgette's story was slightly heartbreaking for the losses that the pair had suffered in their pasts but such a romantic read as they found love in each other while protecting Bridgette's son Louie. Their story moved along well and was enjoyable to read. I loved the interactions between Bodhi and Louie as Bodhi realized how important a role in his life Louie was starting to take. I also enjoyed the emphasis and importance of family for both Bridgette and Bodhi as well as the return of the characters from the previous book in this series. The narration by Mr. Lane was performed well but I think that I would have enjoyed the story more if the narration was performed by two narrators. I would recommend this book to others as it was such a great read.

I have read a lot of Ms. Foster's books but this was not a favorite for me. I realize that Delilah has a lot if issues that she needs to work through from grief over her the death of her parents to her sexuality but over all I found her to be a really weak character. She spends a majority of the book going back and forth over her feelings for Ashley and the perceptions that she felt that her parents would have as well as thinking that others would not approve of her being a lesbian. Ashley was the stronger character and comfortable with her sexuality and wants her partner to be the same which was difficult since Delilah spent most of the book not wanting to acknowledge their relationship. Add in the Janessa character who is interested in Deliliah, has a hook up with her but does not want a relationship with her and is a character that Ashley is clearly jealous of who keeps reappearing throughout the portion of this book that I was able to get through.
Overall, there was a lot that was going on in this book and it was hard to keep my interest. I generally enjoy Ms. Foster's books but this turned out not to be the book for me.
The performance by the narrators was done well by Ms. Arndt and Ms. Erikson and if the story was for me I would have enjoyed their entire performance.

This was a pretty good read that enjoyed like the other books in this series. Bones and Sarah were a well written characters with chemistry once Sarah let down her walls. Sarah with her troubled past and the recent events that plagued her made her such a strong character and woman that i enjoyed reading. Bones was a tender, caring man that made me swoon a bit for him especially when it came to Sarah's kids. Their story was heartbreaking at times and I could not get enough. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books so that one could catch up with them and see what is happening with them after their HEA. The narration by Mr Webber and Ms. Mallon was enjoyable and the pair did a great job bringing this story to life. I especially enjoyed the renditions of the children's voices throughout the story. I can't wait to see where this series will go next and who will get their next HEA. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

This was such a great read and Melissa Foster did not disappoint with this book! I enjoyed reading her first M/M book and the return characters were great as usual. I liked the story line of Alex and Tristan as they over came barriers and issues in their lives as they were real problems that people face in life. The connection between the main characters was strong and hot. She showed that you can be an alpha and still have a tender side as well. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan was enjoyable as the pair brought this story to life. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more from her!
