When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

Not to offend anyone, but this world that has been described can this book, is what is going to happen if the liberal Democrats take over our country. As the story unfolds, All I can imagine is this being told through the eyes of people that are in absolute power and have no faith or ability to understand the world around them. I am afraid that this is going to be our reality if the Democrats ever ever take control of our country... It's like they took this book as their gospel. A brave New World indeed. Hopefully long after I am dead!

Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.

This book pet sematary and Gerald's game are my favorite Stephen King books of all time. The thing that most annoyed me about the book, I worked around aircraft or the majority of my life 22 years plus, and the background music that would come on and the quietness of the narrator made it almost impossible for me to hear and understand any of the story when the music was playing. if my heater or anything in the background what's going on at the same time I would have to pause the book. which made this very annoying to always have to go in every time something broke the absolute silence that I needed to hear the book being narrated. all that being said, this is the first time of me listening to this book, I have read it in hard probably seven times. this story is amazing! I Believe full heartedly that this is one of Stephen King's best works.
