As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: assassination of the emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal. love this author. He can keep you going without all the horror, blood, torture, and rape that everybody else seems to think is so necessary. This series has a great flow, the characters are well rounded and interesting, with new characters coming in with every new book. You get to see children grow into awesome individuals. The Stryx are fun and engaging and I love watching them evolve. I have reread the entire series at least 3 times this year and it never gets old. So happy that audible is doing them as well. The reader is really good. She doesn't go over the top with the voices, but keeps everything and everybody realistically distinct. She has a good flow that keeps everything pleasant without pitting you to sleep. Definitely recommend this entire series to everybody, I truly believe it has universal appeal. great for kids or adults.

What did you love best about Tell Em Steve Dave Fair-re-re Tale Theater?

I love when the TESD crew sit down to have some fun. Walt puts so much effort into giving us a good time, and it shows.

What other book might you compare Tell Em Steve Dave Fair-re-re Tale Theater to and why?

There is no comparison to any other book. These are a group of friends sitting down and having fun with a couple of story's

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The fun and joy they have sitting around bullshitting about these stories makes everything 1000 times better

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed so hard so many times I was almost told to put my head phones away ( I listen at work)

Any additional comments?

THIS IS NOT FOR CHILDREN. THIS IS NOT FOR PRUDES. THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAR RIGHT. This is made by adults for adults and as such includes a great amount of "foul" language as well as talk about sexual situations ( as in terms of the classic fairytales which had some pretty bad situations in them). DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Oh yes, this book is one of the best of all time.

What did you like best about this story?

Robert Jordan made such a detailed original world. The detail really make you believe.

How could the performance have been better?

I dont think the voices were the best. The gentlman had some trouble making the females believable, He had super great pronounction though, he really made that come alive. But after awhile, you got kinda of bored, you could see that he wasn't really into the story. It was also a little annoying how the lady only read for one part. She only read twice, and when she did, it through off the rythem of listening.

Was The Eye of the World worth the listening time?

I don't know. I know that I haven't bothered to listen to it again.

Any additional comments?

I love this series. It is my all time favorite, but I wont be buying anymore of it from here.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Ok, I LOVE THIS BOOK. I love this book so much i ignored the other reviews and purchased it off of the preview listen.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Polgara

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Dina Pearlman?

I dont know that Dina Pearlman was bad in and of herself, I dont think she was the best choice for such a long story, I probably would have gone with Karen Savage, Juliet Stevenson, or my Fav Kimberly Alexis. The main problem was the VERY VERY SUPER BAD RECORDING. In the entire first chapter, the end of every sentence was cut off. Example: She went to the wind. It was warm in the hou. she decided to open the wind. It was stinky outsi. She hoped for a wind to come alo. That would blow away the stin.
How does that even happen in a recording? The ENTIRE FIRST CHAPTER. It came back a few more times in the recordings, AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. If Audible is going to charge that much for a recording, they should make sure the recording is worth it. Just because the book was long, that doesn't excuse such a high price for such a VERY BAD recording.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Polgara the Sorceress?

You don't cut any scenes out of this book! Yes it's long, but you have to love the entire story.

Any additional comments?

DO NOT BUY THIS RECORDING. YOU WILL BE VERY MAD AT YOURSELF IF YOU WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON SUCH A BAD RECORDING.

If you could sum up Guilty Pleasures in three words, what would they be?

The Original Supernatural Fiction

What was one of the most memorable moments of Guilty Pleasures?

The attack of the ghouls in the grave yard. Setting the shed on fire. Edward is my favorite charcter in this series. I loved watching him deal with that situation.

Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?

Nikolaos, Kimberly Alexis did an awesome job with her, keeping the little girl voice and adult voice seperate and oh so menacing.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The mother of all supernatural fiction.

Any additional comments?

WOW. The Reader Was Fantastic!!!!! She had a differnt voice for EVERYBODY, and she kept those voices seperate. In my top three readers now and I can't wait to listen to her again.
