To touch a Dark One is death. To talk to an immortal is suicide. Yet, I've been marked by both. A Vampire. And the King of the immortals. My life is no longer my own. And now I know the truth, my life was never mine to begin with. It was theirs.

it feels incomplete, Dani morphed into a hunter? that is just kinda out there, Mac is living in the clouds? I hope there is another book after this, cuz this ending sucked. and the male narrator was all wrong for this series. he sounds to old time radio announcer. it really didn't work.

excellent representation of Dani story, nice to see things from her POV. she is super interesting character. wondering how KMM will work around her age. when so many males are sniffing around her. 14yrs old is too young for a lover, but Dani is her own girl. if she wants it she will make it happen 😀
