This book is good for beginners just learning Spanish for the first time. It could really use an accompanying PDF with definitions and spelling. The would make this much easier to follow along.

Every leader must be ready and willing to take charge, to make hard, crucial calls for the good of the team and the mission. Something much more difficult to understand is that in order to be a good leader, one must also be a good follower. This is a dichotomy - a Dichotomy of Leadership. It is, as authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin explained in their best-selling first audiobook, Extreme Ownership, “Simple, Not Easy”.

Jocko and Leif did it again, and somehow, even better than before. They are able to take complex leader situations, break them down into simple, easy to understand relatable perspectives and guide you to your best course of action. This really is more than just a leadership book, it is a book about life and handling of all kinds of situations. I love the format of each lesson and the added background soundtrack of military sounds really help to engage you. Jocko and Leif are fantastic at the narration. I hang on every word. Which is important when really listening and absorbing. This is a must have for every person over the age of 12. If you are younger, then check out Jocko's children's books, 'The Way of the Warrior'.

As I listened to this book I realized how little I understood what led to our current state of affairs in politics. This book really helped me to think about what brought us to where we are and the direction we are heading if we don't do something about it. This book is simple enough for someone like me who is not steeped in the world of politics. I enjoyed Tucker Carlson's narration. He is easy to listen to and engaging. I do wish Tucker had written just a bit more on what 'I' can do. Clearly, the elite Ruling Class are so embedded that is all we are able to vote for. It would require a revolution to unseat the current members, but I am even more afraid of who is waiting in the wings.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes. Interesting review on history

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

No reaction needed. It's history.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Richard Matthews?

He was ok. For some strange reason I like voices that are boring like David Attenborough.

Did A Short History of Nearly Everything inspire you to do anything?

It made me want to download some good history podcasts.

Any additional comments?

Slow to start out. It's gets better with time. Very thorough.
