In The Signature of All Things, Elizabeth Gilbert returns to fiction, inserting her inimitable voice into an enthralling story of love, adventure and discovery. Spanning much of the 18th and 19th centuries, the novel follows the fortunes of the extraordinary Whittaker family as led by the enterprising Henry Whittaker - a poor-born Englishman who makes a great fortune in the South American quinine trade, eventually becoming the richest man in Philadelphia.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this story! Juliet Stevenson is not only one of my favorite British actresses but also one of my favorite narrators. Through her incomparable skills this fabulous tale came to life for me. Gilbert skillfully intertwines historical people and events with credible fictional characters in the most interesting and evocative way. Even if you are not particularly interested in the subject of botany, Gilbert will draw you in through her character's eyes and you may find yourself as enthusiastic about it as Henry and Alma. However, there is so much more in store for the reader in this epic tale and I highly recommend it!

Jo Beverley is a New York Times best-selling author whose lush romances have earned her a place in the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. An Unwilling Bride traces an unlikely match between two headstrong people. In order to keep his vast estates in the family, the Duke of Belcraven must find a suitable bride for Lucien de Vaux, his only heir. But the woman he chooses for Lucien has plans of her own. It will take more than simple romance to turn this arrangement into a fairy tale wedding.

Pride and Prejudice has delighted generations of readers with its unforgettable cast of characters, carefully choreographed plot, and a hugely entertaining view of the world and its absurdities. With the arrival of eligible young men in their neighbourhood, the lives of Mr and Mrs Bennet and their five daughters are turned inside out and upside down.
