Sheila Davalloo was young, attractive, and successful. When she started a new job at a cutting-edge research lab in Stamford, Connecticut, she met the man of her dreams. Nelson Sessler had no idea how violently Sheila would react when he began seeing a co-worker, Anna Lisa Raymundo. Sheila eliminated her rival in a bloody knife attack - and then turned her rage on another victim she saw as an obstacle to her passions.

None of the his books that I’ve read have been a disappointment. Now, I search his books and hope to read each one. That’s how much I love his work. I’m hooked.

Ann Rule was working on the biggest story of her career, tracking the trail of victims left by a brutal serial killer. Little did this future best-selling author know that the savage slayer she was hunting was the young man she counted among her closest friends. Everyone's picture of a natural winner, Ted Bundy was a bright, charming, and handsome man with a promising future as an attorney. But on January 24, 1989 Bundy was executed for the murders of three young women - and had confessed to taking the lives of at least thirty-five more women from coast to coast.

The story is great! The narrator, not so much. Her voices made the victims, Ted Bundy's girlfriends and even Ann Rule herself sound powerless and unintelligent.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

She didn't encapsulate Katniss' spirit. She sounds like a naive, sheepish schoolgirl. Instead of the courageous young woman she is.

The final stages in understanding my behaviors and my feelings. I wish I had found this book a year ago. But I appreciate her reassurances that it's not too late to change.
