Here we're back in Rapid City where we're catching up where we're with Rapid City's MC President Jack 'Preacher' Prior's Club Brothers get to him before he puts his plan in action.
He's battered & literally at death's door when he comes across Thunder Ridge Reanch owned by horse (I'll say) whisperer Erin Walker.
He at first stays hidden to her, until he sees that she nearly gets attacked. And here we see the start to the end of Jack's MC's days over.
It's a beautiful slow but quick turnaround as Jack is becoming a horse rancher alongside Erin in the 18 mths he's been living at the ranch.
But then things changes when a couple of the MC men turn up & Jack decides he has to go back & finish off EVERYTHING from his past...

Derrick "The Love Whisperer" King gives out relationship and sex advice on the radio to everyone, but he’s giving me something a bit more personal. Nobody’s ever talked to me the way he does. Daring, demanding, sexy...and oh, so dirty. Maybe we started this whole thing a little backward, sex first and getting to know each other after. But I'm starting to let my guard down, my untrusting heart beginning to think that maybe fairy tales do come true. Even for me.

Derek is a hot sensual love host whom gives advice on how to Give advice on & receiving sexually activities.
And this is how Katrina 'Kitty Kat' (Kat) a computer games designer, who rang for a bow out. And the connection between these 2 especially in their off air time & their bodies JUST BELONG TOGETHER, They SHOULD Be TOGETHER.

Lynsay's witty, sexy, utterly fantastic debut romance transports the listener back to Medieval England to witness the outrageous trials and temptations of a good wife whose husband unfortunately dies before he can do... The Deed. The lady, left shockingly unprepared, finds herself promised to a handsome, landless knight, and misunderstandings, missteps, and (of course) passion ensue.

First off Lynsay Sands has done it again it doesn't matter if it's The absolutely brilliant Argeneau Series or the Historical genre.

(There are areas where it's so comical you could just imagine how the scenario is interacted 😂 )

This is about Amaury de Aneford (the ba***rd son of a Lord) better yet the most sort after soldier all around England. And the virgin widow Lady Emmaline Eberhart, who had gone to King Richard to demand her husband of 2 years to do his bed sharing & what goes on. Well here is the first area you could be gobsmacked if you're thinking in today's scenario & not that of the way it was back in the Medieval era & on top of that having grown up without a mother figure to talk to her how the marital bed goes 😉
AND this is the start of their humorous life together but with having to watch their backs as they KEEP having episodes of Where they're getting jumped by a varied load of unscrupulous people.
I have a couple of negatives which is so rare of me to write for Lynsay's work, which I won't take it off my scoring, Some of the vocabulary is wrong for the era.
And the other was I'm sorry to say I found the way narrator Chloe Lynn said AMAURY it sounded at times like ANN-MARIE
But NO Matter What The Story is a Great One

I haven't read Any book by Kendall Ryan that I haven't liked & The House Mate is no different. It's a sweet quick read love story.
Where We meet ex Ranger Business Max Alexander finding his next sexual conquest which didn't even get started as his ex turns up with biggest surprised he didn't even know anything about & heck this is a surprise that could ruin all future conquests.
Max whom some may say lumbered others may say a blessing as Max didn't seem to be the man to except & take a 12 month old little girl into his life & fall in love with her practically AS soon as he holds Dylan
Then he NEEDS to find her a Nanny & all clothing/furniture/toiletries & that Nanny is desperate Addison whom needs a new job, place to live & money & this job is JUST perfect for her.
So this is the sweet story of the 3 of them learning to live, work & play together. And we can feel that heated attraction for each other that Max & Addison & the love Max feels for his newfound daughter is so sweet, that will pull you in, especially if you like the sweet loving of a parent to a young child and that goes for Addison also.
So we see what Max proposes to Addison how the 2 of them should go about the situation they've found themselves in.....

Ava Erickson and Sebastian York were alright in their narration

Jack Valentini isn't my type. Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave. Jack might be gorgeous, but he's also scruffy, rugged, and rude. He wants nothing to do with a "rich city girl" like me, and he isn't afraid to say so. But I've got a PR job to do for his family's farm, so he's stuck with me and I'm stuck with him. His glares. His moods. His tight jeans. His muscles. His huge, hard muscles.

This is my first book I've read by Melanie Harlow & it was a most enjoyable but with a fair bit of pained emotional outbursts by widower ex marine come farmerJack Valentini & public relations City Girl Margo.
The 3 brothers who own the farm which sells organic produce need help to get their produce out there so 2 of the 3 brothers know THEY NEED help in advertisement & new ideas except for Jack who had these big plans with his deceased wife after he came out of the marines.
So here we see how Margo & he butt heads about Her ideas & no matter WHAT EVEN if he KNOWS she's right HE WON'T GO for it, BUT THEN things takes a turn for either the WORSE or BETTER way depending on how it seems.

I EVEN enjoyed BOTH Narrators Rob Howard & Renee Givens which is very unusual for me, do it made the book EVEN more enjoyable

What well become of the 2 of them.

The last time I saw my best friend's younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check. Now 24, he's broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he's pure temptation.

My review's going to be a quick one. AS Room Mate was a Loving HEA after a practical life time of facturación and after Dr.Cannon Roth, who needed somewhere to stay, due to crazy ex setting fire to his place & the one place he's been placed was The Girl, Paige. Whom HE fell in love with when he was a geekish school Boy & she's his older Sister's BFF.
We see how things go on with their living arrangement. So it's an easy likable read. The Narrators' were alright, but that's not putting a down on the book.

Brooker's story I feel has been the best yet, maybe as it was a more emotional story.
His old best friend throughout their childhood, Poppy has come back all of a sudden, after being away for 7yrs.
And heck from the off start you can feel the emotion these two have between them & it becomes more and more intense the more we see them, but they both have different definition of what happened JUST before Poppy decided to go to Germany.
These two have a deeper relationship connection than what the Twins Cam & Tanner have between Doctors, Indy & Belle due to them knowing each other so deeply, well apart from Brooker not realising that Poppy had loved him for most of their childhood nor even when they ACTUALLY get together. And it's here we see how emotionally f**ked up Brooker is compared than the others. But heck the tears were trickling down my face listening to him but I could've kicked him up the butt, for what he put Poppy through & also for not realising or I should say understanding what his feeling is shouting out to him.
But there is some Happy areas....
