However, it is so redundant to hear every one in every country chuckling. Doesn’t anyone laugh or smirk anymore? And why do we have to hear how many times a phone rings before it is picked up? We enjoy this series Mr. Fields, but it would be so much better if we didn’t have to hear the word chuckle so often.

Listened to entire boxed set.

I like Kruger. Stories were all too long though. And I got really tired of everyone “chuckling” and the author noting how many rings were on the phone until the phone was answered. These may be petty, but his books could have used words not so repetitive.

What a great book and really like Billy Beckett. We have read all of Scott Pratt’s books and so glad we tried this one. Look forward to the rest of this series.

Every single book is so good. The characters, the story line, the action, all of it. Next on our list is David Wolf, Book 7.

Good story line,. All the characters are believable and interesting. Happy to find a new favorite author. The author also comes up with descriptive words that are not all tired and worn out. Nice and refreshing.

The story line was very, very interesting and easy to follow. Lots of turns and twists that were surprising and really added so much to the book. The narrator was very good. Sometimes when people try to do a foreign accent it is hard to understand, but Simon Vance did a good job.

Not the same old stuff as so many books are today. Enjoyed the characters and they all were true to the end. The only thing I got a little tired of was Jeff’s overused words, like ‘meandering’, ‘copse’ of trees’ and all the deputy sheriffs saying ‘what?’. Won’t stop me from continuing to book 5 though.

I am so happy to be married and to a wonderful man. I have been in relationships like the one you mentioned. Frozen in fear, desperate for help, stuck! Finally, I woke up, but it took a long time. Yes, tell friends and family but the, LISTEN to their words of wisdom.

What a good sense of humor!

A sometimes awkward subject but brought home to me how we are more alike than we think we are. Everyone wants and needs acceptance and who am I not to provide that.

The woman in this story was just too off the wall. Up, up, up and one minute later, down, down, down. She was so co-dependent acting that I really disliked her.
