The title of this book, along with the very interesting neon "strawberry" stopped me in my tracks and I had to laugh. So I thought, at the very worst I could learn something new while listening to an annoying monotone voice using clinical terms that belied the cover of this book.

To my delight I really enjoyed this book. It was like listening to a friend who has was willing to tell you all she knew about the subject without holding back. A fun book that was informative and goes much deeper on the subject of cunnilingust in a very clear structed manner.

This is a very intriguing story that held me from the beginning. The main characters are women that are not weak and fumbling or overly masculine in order to survive. Lost Solace is a well balanced story of two women (or a woman and an AI life form) struggling to stay alive and working toward a goal. With characters that draw you in and make you care about them.

The pacing and narrating (narrated by Marisha Tapera) only add to this well written story and had me totally absorbed by the second chapter. The narrator skilfully voices each character and pulls you into a world of deep dark space. One I admit I loved entering. For anyone looking for a story with a strong female lead, look no further.

I really enjoyed this audiobook and I must say I look forward to the continuation of the story.

This is a touching and endearing story of two people in love. In a time when their love could cost them everything including their lives, they hold on to each other and work together in order to stay together.
I have read a few of the author's shortstories and jump at the chance to listen to one of her audiobook and I was not disappointed.

The narrator did a great job at portraying the emotions of the characters and bringing their world to life in the spoken word. I kn ow I will listen to this audiobook again.

Being blood-bound to Caius, a powerful and rather irritating demonborn, was never on my bucket list. Of course, neither was being a reaper or learning I’m not fully human. In fact, there are a lot things going on in my life now that weren’t on that list - like almost having my immortal life cut short or finding out my unusual heritage may get me killed. As if that wasn’t enough, it seems like everyone around me is either keeping secrets or wants to see me dead. Except Caius, who isn’t what I expected.

I was given this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review and I am very pleased to have had the honor. I love when an author has the ability to create worlds that make you feels as though you can walk right or brtter yet when that world is connected to th one we live in and is covered by a veil. A.D. Trosper does just that.

A well narrated book that tells the story of Jo, a young reaper who finds that there a many secrets kept from her by those she trusts and the only one willy to tell her the truth is the one who is suppose to be her enemy.

A talented and caring teacher, Russell offers a moving portrayal that combines rich autobiographical details with firsthand insight into the world of education. Read or Die, when I saw the title I thought this is exactly how I feel when I haven't read for more than two days. After reading the summary I found out it was about a teacher helping her students’ one book at time. Yet, while listening to this audiobook I found it was much more than that just a teacher and her ability to teach. Some reviews are saying it's great because you get a teacher's point of view, but that's not point. The point is this particular teacher's point of view. Not all teachers have the ability or care to see their students the way she did. She didn't see herself as some saviour. Just someone who would if she could change a student's trajectory... and she did it with books.
I found her story wonderful, human and a bit heart breaking. After hearing the audiobook (which I received a free copy) a few day ago, I brought a print copy to give to a friend. While on the train I started reading the book. When I was done I smiled and said, "Miss it was good".

When I have read a book that I really enjoy, but am unfamiliar with the genre I like to take some time to think about the characters and how they coexist in the world created by the author.
I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued about the world this author has created set in the not too distant future.

With a very story and an equally good narrator I feel it with call for a second listen.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I really enjoy reading Suzie Carr books. I can sit and have a terrific story unfold in the pages in front of me, but this narrator seeps the life from this story like the color draining from a photograph.I have listen to some bad narration in my time and have been able to withstand many of bad reading, but I got as far as 51minutes and 16 seconds before I said, "No more". I did nothing to justify taking that sort of punishment. This is the second time I have listen to this narrator slowly drone on in her narration of a Susie Carr book. I refuse to do it again.

What could Suzie Carr have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Choose another narrator (and that doesn't mean she should read it herself, I've been through that hell too).

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She detracted by reading it.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I am sure the story is fine. As a matter of fact I am going to Amazon.com and get a copy of the ebook.

Any additional comments?

Yes, audiobooks should add something wonderful and bring an author's book to life.
