Maggie Walker has never called Wirra Station home. Orphaned as a child, she spent more time at boarding school and then working in the city than she ever spent on the edge of the outback. But when her great aunt dies, Maggie inherits everything and reluctantly returns to tidy the place up before selling.  Ambitious cowboy-next-door Max O’Connor has the means and the desire to buy Wirra Station outright and return it to its former glory. But first, he wants elusive Maggie Walker to know what she’s giving up.

Sometimes going home isn't all that it's cracked up to be. This is even more so for Maggie Walker, who does not consider Wirra Station her home...even though this is where she grew up after her parents were killed in a car accident. Orphaned at a young age and sent to live with a resentful great aunt, Maggie has a difficult time considering the sheep farm 'home'. Besides, the place is in dire need of some TLC...and cash for that TLC is not available. Maggie decides to sell! Max O'Connor is Maggie's childhood friend, the boy who literally saved her life by pulling her from the accident wreckage. However, Maggie still harbors resentment towards Max, believing that he should have also saved her parents. When Maggie approaches Max about buying Wirra Station from her, he believes that she's making a mistake by selling her heritage. Max convinces Maggie to stay at Wirra for 3 months, with him as the farm manager, before she makes the final decision. Over the summer, Maggie's outlook slowly changes towards both the property and its manager. Is there an HEA for Maggie and Max?

Kendall James has just been terminated from her teaching position because the conservative board frowns upon unwed mothers, despite her claims that she IS married. That would be because her husband, Adam, has hardly been around since they got married! Broke and homeless, Kendall decides to track down her worthless husband at the last known address that she had...when he sent her money several months ago. She is taken aback when she arrives in town, and subsequently her husband's childhood home, to discover that he is from a wealthy family...and he is already married! When Adam's mother suggests that she marry his brother, Luke,...for the sake of the baby...Kendall is incensed but grudgingly agrees. Luke Templeton is the responsible brother and has always done the right thing all of his life. He agrees to marry Kendall to give his nephew the family name. He is attracted to Kendall but is wary of her motives. But all is not well at the Templeton estate; someone wants Kendall out of the way. Further investigation reveals that Kendall is not as alone as she's always thought...as it stands, her mother was from a wealthy family but had been disowned when she refused to give up her baby. Many sordid secrets of the rich and famous are revealed...can Luke keep his wife and son safe? Is there an HEA in store for Luke and Kendall? Wonderful romantic suspense that leaves you guessing...as well as wanting to pummel Adam into the ground...lol. Narration was on point.

Dr. "Sport" Warrick is in the wrong place at the wrong time, sort of. She went to meet her best friend at her job at a bookstore and walks in on a robbery. Sport's friend is shot, the store owner, also a family friend, is murdered and she witnesses it all...then she runs for her life! However, before she ran, the dying owner gave her a mysterious box and instructions to contact CIA agent Sean McGee. The content of the box is chilling...it involves a covert Russian group, impostors infiltrating key political positions and murder. Sport has the evidence to support that the POTUS is the next target and she and Sean race against time to stay alive and ahead of the assassins, including Sean's boss at the CIA. This story is chocked full of action that will keep you at the edge of your seat! Wonderful HEA.

When Vicksburg fell to Union forces under General Grant in July 1863, the balance turned against the Confederacy in the trans-Appalachian theater. The Federal success along the river opened the way for advances into central and eastern Tennessee, which culminated in the bloody battle of Chickamauga and then a struggle for Chattanooga. Chickamauga is usually counted as a Confederate victory, albeit a costly one.
