Jenny Mollen is an actress and writer living in Los Angeles. She is also a wife, married to a famous guy (which is annoying only because he gets free shit and she doesn't). She doesn't want much from life. Just to be loved - by everybody: her parents, her dogs, her ex-boyfriends, her ex-boyfriends' dogs, her husband, her husband's ex-girlfriends, her husband's ex-girlfriend's new boyfriends, etc.

I really enjoyed this book! Even if half the stories are true I would have loved to have been friends. This is a book that has the reader (listener) laughing out loud and wishing they had someone in their life just like Jenny. Hope she writes more because she has a real talent for it!

This often sweet, occasionally angry, but mostly hilarious true story of one Southern woman's swim through the murky waters of marriage and divorce is a quirky gem. Judy Conner refers to her former husband simply as "That X," which is perfectly understandable considering some of the antics he pulled. Although the stories of her X are sometimes humiliating, they are always funny. And Conner makes one thing perfectly clear. She and her X shared a love - albeit a surreal one - that was completely true.

The Sweet Potato Queens are back and bawdier than ever in Southern belle extraordinaire Jill Conner Browne’s ninth edition of the hysterical series. Having experienced pretty much ALL of the crappy parts of life, Browne feels it is her duty to render whatever assistance she can to her fellow sufferers - and she does so in her own inimitable fashion.

Her father taught her there are very few situations in life that we really and truly cannot change, and it is up to us to figure out how to either make fun OUT of them - or make fun OF them.

I love everything this author writes. I enjoy her reading her work. This story touched me deeply because I just lost my mother and I am afraid I am not dealing with it well But after hearing Jill's story I feel lighter. Thank you
