Busy Philipps’ autobiographical audiobook offers the same unfiltered and candid storytelling that her Instagram followers have come to know and love, from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and her painful and painfully funny teen years to her life as a working actress, mother, and famous best friend. Busy is the rare entertainer whose impressive arsenal of talents as an actress is equally matched by her storytelling ability, sense of humor, and sharp observations about life, love, and motherhood. Her conversational writing reminds us what we love about her on screens of all sizes.

This was such a good & fun read! I think Busy is smart, engaging, and vulnerable in this book. She was honest about her experiences and her insecurities which was really refreshing. I laughed and cried and definitely wanted more. Looking forward to the premiere of Busy Tonight !

Picking up from A Discovery of Witches’ cliffhanger ending, Shadow of Night takes Diana and Matthew on a trip through time to Elizabethan London, where they are plunged into a world of spies, magic, and a coterie of Matthew’s old friends, the School of Night. As the search for Ashmole 782 deepens and Diana seeks out a witch to tutor her in magic, the net of Matthew’s past tightens around them, and they embark on a very different - and vastly more dangerous - journey.

The story picks up right where the first leaves off. Deborah Harkness does a fantastic job of depicting the past and highlighting the many faces of Matthew. You’re introduced to many new characters and each one is more interesting. For as intricate as the storyline is I never found myself lost or confused. Jennifer Ikeda is an amazing narrator - incredibly talented. If you loved the first book, this is even better!

She isn't afraid to say what everyone is thinking when it comes to love, sex, friendship, and many other topics that are all too often sugar-coated in polite Southern company.

I am a huge fan of Cawfeetalk! I love this woman-she is so real and hysterical. I laughed out loud and sobbed all within the first few chapters. She's real and no bullshit. The whole time she's talking about her & Michaels dynamic I kept thinking, oh my gosh this is me and my husband. Then when I realized that we were both Libras a light bulbs went off! Jaime you are my soul sister. Get this book, you won't be disappointed
