something very powerful about Tom Baker's Voice reading a Doctor Who novel. not to mention no one knows the 4th doctor better than Tom Baker. he wrote an instant classic tale of the vagabond timelord and somehow was able to keep the classic show charm. a must listen for a doctor who fan if not for the story then Maybe for the history of the this particular story.

The Dark Tower one of the biggest literacy Juggernauts in modern history was ok. it was exciting action packed in parts but the story just seemed to be a big build up to a mediocre ending.

I enjoyed this book one of my biggest problems with it though it's a bit too wordy but damned if it doesn't paint an amazing picture it's like watching a TV show in your mind.

this book was really good. told in the style of a navy captain's report it chronicled the aftermath of a navy battleship that survived nuclear devastation. searching for a habitable piece of land that can lead to the survival of the human race the captain must deal with natural, psychological, and man made disaster to insure the future of mankind. this book was outstanding with it's depiction of what a Navy commander would do in such situations. i did find the book to be a touch wordy and some of the nodical terms escaped me not being a sailor myself. however the genre of post apocalyptic survival is one of my favorites and this story did well to fit in. i would recommend it to those who also enjoy that genre but i would suggest the abridged version.

this book was hard to listen to. i watched the Troll Hunters series on Netflix and really liked it. the charictors the villians and the magical adventure. i figured if the series was good the book must be excellent. i was wrong the main charictor was whiney and annoying the story wasnt really holding my intrest and alot of the aspects of the series that i like just where not there. i call this a rare case of the show being superior to the source material.

i am a fan of Matthew Santoro's YouTube channel. Matt always gives you a list of interesting fact that make you think with a funny goofball delivery. A lot of the jokes made on the show seem off the cuff and improvised and therefore they are funny. i feel however this audiobook failed to capture the spontaneity of the jokes thus causeing them to fall a little flat. though i enjoyed Matthew reading his book and found the facts interesting and thought provoking much like his show, the jokes made my eyes roll instead of getting the intended chuckle. though i look forward to Matt's next book i hope he works on his narration skills and is more relaxed and has fun in his next reading.

this story is a hidden gem. as i listened to it i was suprised that this tale with all its political meaning and morals is not a required read for schools. i honestly never heard of this story before. it was heart warming and a joy to listen to. i felt that Jim Roberts' proformace was on point and he made it easy to picture the story in my mind easily one of my new favorite stories. side note this is public domain so woth some search you can find it for free.
