The narrator for Cassie sounds like she has her tongue pierced and the male narrator sounds like Mr Rodgers and does horrible female voices. No idea if I would have liked the book. I'm skipping both the rest of this one and the entirety of the next.

it's definitely steamy, but I'm not a fan of the narrators. Jennifer Mack doesn't do a great guy voice. Lance Greenfield is on my no-go list after this. The entire book DOES NOT need to be read in the same voice as a movie trailer. His female voice sounds like a very effeminate gay man, which is fine, except that this is supposed to be an erotic m/f romance. It was just annoying.

She takes my breath away; she is so beautifully damaged. Yes, I had broken her, ravished her life, and destroyed her happiness. I brought her to the ultimate despair.
