This book was very boring. It just seemed to drag on and on. I got very bored of it very quickly. I was hoping it would go somewhere, but it never got there fast enough.

This narrator made it very difficult to like the novel. His inflections were almost always unnecessary. I don’t believe that the narrator understood the feeling of the situations. And sometimes he spoke too fast and I wasn’t sure which character he was supposed to be. I’m honestly surprised I even finished listening to this book.

It was very challenging knowing who’s voice the narrator was portraying. She never really deepened it enough for a man, and her voice is deep enough.

It was the storyline that kept me interested. Can’t wait to read book 2.

I’m scared to read the third considering the reviews.

While I love the push and pull, and the hot temptation, and her struggle. I’m pulling for her one way, then I’m hating her, then cheering her on. So frustratingly good.

Love this narrator! She does the male voices fantastically.

While not only do I love the female narrator, she’s great at making me laugh aloud, but the story was so adorable. Great read!

This was such a refreshing book. I loved both characters, and how both of them thought for each other. I am anxiously awaiting the next reads in this set.

This story was beautifully written! I was actually in tears (while sitting at work) when he read the article the first time. Don’t want to give anything away here.

The narrator—while she had a great southern accent, she was very bland and monotone most of the time; but it didn’t deter me from the real story.

Thanks Katy for a heartwarming story!
