Dr. Glover believes there are men who suffer what he calls the "Nice Guy Syndrome". These men listen, offer advice, and jump at the chance to help. But no matter how hard they try to please others, their own lives are incomplete. Here Dr. Glover offers guidance on how to take back control. He suggests ways to achieve fulfillment in emotional, physical, and professional relationships. By redefining his priorities, any man can create the life he always wanted.

I honestly feel a lot of other guys should either read or listen to this audio book, nice guy or not.. I'm sure that there is something that we all as men can relate too. I really needed to hear these stories and get honest, firm, yet sensitive feedback from a male perspective.

The narrator's tone even read almost like a fatherly type of figure. I recommend.

I enjoyed this although in some areas, it got a bit technical for me as a new producer. It's also tricky with audio books to not have diagrams and pictures that would normally be included in a hardcopy. However they do have it available online which was cool.

Overall this was a good read/listen and I will be applying the tips to my work.

"'Boy, do I have a lot to learn!'" Anyone who's ever picked up a musical instrument of any kind - from the first caveman banging rocks to that little kid at the guitar shop - has thought that. I know I did. I'd been trying for years to break in to the music scene, to show everyone my chops, to make my mark. And I was good. But I wasn't great. I knew that there was something wrong. Then the teacher showed up...."

I was seeking some musical motivation and saw some good reviews about this book. I decided to try audible and was pleasantly surprised that it told much like a story. Without giving anything away, I will say that there are some very practical tips and information that will help new or seasoned musicians or creators in need of some inspiration and imagination.
