entertaining but not thrilling

Characters in this book were left very shallow with almost no background stories at all. Most of the book was descriptions of space battles from the point of view of commanders and even those were without any understanding of physics. The technology and physics were not even attempted to make plausible which make listening this book a pain as with even minor physics knowledge the chosen tactics and weapons made no sense.
The narration was listenable but attemped voice acting was causing some of the female characters lines to be hard to hear compared especially in a car.
