In Diana Kingston's defense, it was the middle of the night in the deserted hospital chapel. Surely it was just a dream. She hadn't really sold herself to a brooding stranger to save her father's life, right? Then she wakes, and her father is fully recovered, and a mysterious letter arrives from the tall, dark, handsome - um, devil? Yep, it was right there on the contract, Lucien Star, aka Lucifer Morningstar, that had been his name in the dream.... Gulp. What would the devil himself want with her? Sex. Three months of it, every Friday night.

Bravo and well done Emma.. for such a wonderful debut novel - you’ve absolutely surpassed my expectations and delivered a captivating story that lured me in from its synopsis and audio sample.. and let me tell you I was seriously impressed. Your handsome charismatic Devil was deliciously bad and intriguing as he tempted.. and teased.. and bargained with Diana whose pure soul was enticing him out of his funk. You created good girl Diana to be a shining light in his dark world.. and she was that.. and so so much more and, as I listened and visualized various scenarios to give them a happily ever after, my mental musings paled in comparison to the beautiful perfect scenes you wrote. You only briefly flirted with descriptions of Heaven and Hell - and you had just the right balance of sex as Diana’s three month contract of Friday nights belonging to Lucien (aka Lucifer) commenced. You created a loveable alpha possessive Devil who slowly.. well shhh you know what.. and, rather than dark, this sweet and very entertaining love story, with all its whimsical fantasies and humor, was actually really light. So, once again Emma, bravo.. you gave me quite a different and compelling story about love conquering all.. and it was a shining beacon to watch out for your next book.

Worth a credit? Diana and Lucien’s journey was dual POVs, it was mysterious, romantic, sexy, sweet, refreshingly different and wonderfully romantic with a splash of heartache.. and Jeremy York’s narration brought the characters, the scenes and the story to life.. definitely making it a creditworthy audiobook.

Ever since Scarlet Rocket showed up in the flesh, she's turned my structured world upside down. My neatly ordered life, my hand-painted Aliens versus Vampires figurines, my expertly curated comics collection - none of these things provide any shelter from her sexy, sassy onslaught. It's a disaster of my own making. She didn't exist until I created her. Now, I can't get her out of my mind, and all I want to do is get her into my bed. Never mind that she's a thief, a liar, a con woman. Every step she takes leaves chaos in her wake. And damn if I don't want more of it.

According to Audible a two star rating means this book was okay.. and it was - however I had such high hopes for this romantic comedy but the plot (or its characters) failed to truly draw me in. Willis, the handsome Clark Kent introvert nerdy hero, writes a female sex blog under a female pen name and Scarlet, the beautiful redheaded imposter heroine, unexpectedly gate-crashes the parties and his life posing as the confident Scarlet Rocket.. (aka Willis) so she can con and steal. Which starts this lighthearted book off well.. but somewhere along the way I totally lost interest and, for me, reaching the end became a chore rather than an all-consuming necessity. The dual POV chapters were supposed to hold comedy.. but, as soon as Scarlet viewed Willis as a ‘mark’ to manipulate it felt sour rather than sweet.. and I know she had her reasons but the loveable hero, who’d charged headlong to slay her demons, deserved better.

Worth a credit? I stuck it out and tried to feel the magic.. but unfortunately (IMO) I have to say no - and that had nothing to do with the narration which was good. It’s drama-lite, has medium heat, low intensity and sorry but I didn’t feel the seismic chemistry that I’ve felt with other books by this author.. however, this won’t put me off one clicking another book by Celia Aaron. Pet peeve of mine time.. the cover - the sexy hero in the book wears black rimmed plastic glasses but the cover model doesn’t - why not? - do they think we’ll be put off by a hero wearing.. shock horror gasp ‘glasses’.. tisk tisk.

A true love contemporary creative fairytale.. a beautiful soul-to-soul love story.. a passion and lust filled hot romance.

Oh Angel.. Angel.. Angel.. you’ve hit it out of the park with this very romantic love story. You’ve written a compelling forbidden romance between Everest Cimarron - the devastatingly handsome and charismatic King of the remote island of Arcadia and twenty-four yr old Camellia (aka Cam) Saxon - a sweet and oh so feisty American College graduate. An untouchable King who must choose a wife before he’s thirty - picked from the twelve women of the ‘Distinct’ all vying to be Queen. A down-to-earth Assistant Producer of a film crew - the first people allowed onto the mysterious island. You painted a breathtakingly beautiful longing-filled love story that had me picturing each scene as your descriptive world-building imagery weaved wonders and slowly revealed a true gem of an adult fairytale. You captured their chemistry deliciously.. from the moment their eyes met at the Ball - right through to the Epilogue had sighworthy intensity.. and, even though you’d put rules and a vow in their way forbidding their union, you managed to write some very hot scenes. I loved Cam’s humorous quick-witted thoughts and dialogue, there was a perfect balance of angst and drama and feels.. and I loved the dirty-talking sexy hero who was torn between his duty and his love. Yes, you’ve created a Kingdom like no other.. a make-believe literary Kingdom where I drooled.. and sighed.. and loyally lingered as forbidden soul-mates overcame obstacles and eventually triumphed,

Worth a credit? This seductive passion-filled love story, with its off-the-charts chemistry and tension-filled torment, is told entirely from Cam’s humorous and sometimes heartbreaking POV. Angel Payne’s seductive words lure you in as an insta-lust first meeting spins and spirals.. and broken hearts battle between loyalty and love.. and it’s a “just one more chapter” listen. The narration by Summer Morton brought the whole story to life and YES, she made this audiobook very creditworthy.

That smoking hot one-night stand with a former rock star? Turns out, he's my son's new teacher. Oops. But I didn't know that the night I met Campbell. All I knew was he played my body the same way he played a guitar - like he owned it. My libido is still high-fiving me after being self-served for too many years, and we're both ready for another night or two of fun, especially since we don't just have chemistry in bed - we connect over everything. That is, until I learn he's the man who'll be coming to my house twice a week to teach my son the best music lessons money can buy.

With the perfect mix and blend of wordsmith heavyweights Lauren Blakely, Sebastian York and Andi Arndt you’re always guaranteed a Real Good Time.. and, by the end of chapter two, I so wanted to borrow one of Cupid’s arrows for the loveable hero and heroine.. to match them and their families up and give them a happy ending. However, I left it to the rom/com maestro and Lauren didn’t disappoint - in fact she surpassed.. the stolen moments, the tender touches, the dirty talk, the hot hero, the strong heroine, the humor, the secondary characters and the romance are all there as she spins her magical web of feels. It’s a feel-good romance as a one-night stand (with potential for more) comes screeching to a ‘platonic only’ zone for totally selfless reasons.. however their lust and longing and mutual respect for each other grow until it’s clandestine rendezvous and stolen touches and unspoken feelings. It’s a story of two hearts that have connected, two loving parents, two tight family units.. and two crafty teens who see a lot more than their parents think.

Worth a credit? This entertaining and brilliantly narrated dual POV love story starts off hot.. then simmers and slow boils until it reaches that all important perfect hallelujah moment. It’s got humorous, snappy and quick witted dialogue, it’s sweet, it’s savory and it’s deliciously hot too.. and YES it’s creditworthy.

Dirty rich one night stand. That's all it was supposed to be. He's the powerful attorney, now world-renowned after coming off the trial of a century which was publicized across the country. And I'm one of the reporters that sat in his courtroom. I watched him, studied him, got to know him from afar which isn't hard since I know his exact brand of confidence, arrogance, and wealth. I know his type. I've dated his type. Which is why when I happen to come face to face with him, when sparks fly and heat simmers between us, I know what happens if I say yes to Reese Summer.

.... and all books written by Lisa Renee Jones.

As the sparks fly in the Coffee Shop sexy, charming, successful Attorney Reese Summer is instantly intrigued by the beautiful feisty spitfire waiting in line behind him but, rather than being impressed by the cocky gorgeous confident man cutting in front of her, Journalist/Author Cat is all kinds of hot and bothered. She knows him and his type, she’s been watching him in court.. and she’s felt firsthand, the devastation that powerful men like him can bring into your life. However, a one-and-done night is on this couple’s horizon.. and one will lead to a two-and-positively-done night.. and then into many more - because this couple can’t stay away from one another and can’t say no when it comes to each other.. but shhhh.. they can’t get caught. As Reese is the self-assured, focussed, arrogant ‘never lost a case’ Defence Attorney in a high profile murder trial and Cat is the well-loved Columnist reporting the daily events as the trial unfolds. Cat’s supposed to remain impartial but, as their relationship and the trial develops, Cat gets drawn into Reese’s world and a very determined Reese slowly crumbles Cat’s defences and keeps her there.

This multi-layered addictive story, and its characters, instantly draws you in and what I really reeeeally loved was its pace as the pieces and players fit together during the trial.. revealing the truth, revealing the real killer.. revealing lovers.. and revealing a strong supportive couple very much in love. I also loved the fact that Reese wasn’t a manwhore with a long list of previous conquests, that there wasn’t any OM/OW drama and that the storyline wasn’t drowned by too much sex.. a refreshing change and the perfect balance. There was witty banter, sizzling chemistry, clever dialogue, romance, mystery, suspense, the Walker security men from previous books and lots of feels. Told in dual POV’s by two well loved narrators and Erin and Joe did an awesome job bringing this story, together with its characters, to life.. and together they made it exciting, enjoyable and very compelling.

Worth a credit? The jury’s in and I’m pleading guilty to finding this listen very creditworthy.. and I’m a repeat offender because I’m off to listen to book 2 now.

I happily went from book 1 straight into book 2 because I love this author’s writing style that much.. and she didn’t disappoint. Because, not only is there an instant obsession that takes time (and a little angst) to ferment into a solid HEA, but there’s also interesting legal issues going on in the background as well as the lives of the secondary characters and both build multi-layers into the story.

Lori is living with her nurse Mom, she’s working hard to pay off their debts because her Dad’s death has left its mark financially and mentally on Lori long after the heartache had eased and she vowed never to do what her Mom had done. never need and never trust. But never say never Lori, because you’re about to run into a man (literally) that’s going to haunt your thoughts long after you run from his sexy strong arms following your hot no strings one night stand. And, months later when you’re an excited eager Intern at a new Law firm, you’ll meet your Prince again and you’ll have more than that one night in common.. but it’ll be a push ‘n pull ride before this stubborn modern day Cinderella finally lets her Prince put on that metaphorical shoe to see it’s actually a perfect fit.

Successful, rich, handsome Lawyer Cole can’t get the woman he bumped into out of his mind - then Fate throws him a lifeline and there’s a second chance meeting, a dirty sexy one night stand and a world filled with possibilities.. but in the morning she’s gone taking those possibilities with her.. and all he has is a first name and bitter-sweet memories. Memories that will fuel a hunt for her, memories that will haunt him obsessively for weeks, memories that will stop another woman’s touch.. and memories that will become a reality when he comes face-to-face with Lori again.. across his conference room. Cole knows what he wants.. or rather who he wants, but getting the fiercely independent and stubborn Lori to see possibilities rather than problems is going to test his bargaining skills.. because this alpha Lawyer might just do the unthinkable.. he might lose the most important fight of his life.

Worth a credit? It’s a perfect fairytale for adults.. it’s got sex with no strings which backfires into tangled strings and love. The journey was sexy.. and stormy.. and romantic.. and angsty.. and interesting.. and deliciously addictive as the push ‘n pull emotions of rags and riches boil and eventually blend. The dual POV story was expertly brought to life by two trusted actors whose flawless performances created a 5 star audiobook that’s YES definitely creditworthy.

Firstly, this is NOT New Adult.. Audible has accidentally mis-genred this book as both the hero and heroine are well into their thirties.. in fact the hero is forty - so don’t be put off by the sub-category and, maybe after letting Audible know, they’ll put things right. Anyhoo..

This was such an enjoyable humorous lighthearted listen.. and sexy too.. as hot, tattooed, Ducati riding Nick (who has recently been released from Prison) soon heads into big trouble.. and her name is Stella Peretti. Because the stunning beauty who captured his attention is going to change this ex con’s outlook on going straight, fuel his libido, warm his heart with her quirky antics, challenge his alpha sexcapades in the bedroom, show him heaven and prove that he is definitely a selfless hero. The reason for that is that Stella is also a jewel thief, she’s a one-third part of the selfless female Robin Hood gang known as Shimmy Bang Sparkle who rob the rich, give to the poor and right wrongs, she’s sexy as Hell, she loves life.. and, with her, life’s never dull. She’s kind, she’s good.. and she’s all sorts of bad in-between, she’s planning the ultimate heist.. AND, she doesn’t know it yet, but she’s going to need a hero.. because, once this dynamic duo of soul-mates agree to do “one last job”, there will be no stopping them.. or will there?

Worth a credit? For me, yes definitely.. I hadn’t heard of this author before and I’m not ashamed to say that it was Sebastian York’s name that initially drew me in.. well that and the sexy cover - and yes, I sometimes judge them by it. So, I took a chance and was rewarded with a feel-good dual POV insta-everything sweet romance that had a lot of witty funny times, drool-worthy sexy times, some sigh-worthy romantic times.. and even some heartfelt sad times too on this likeable couple’s road to riches. And they were accompanied by a sweet tiny dachshund named Pricilla whole stole the show.. and Stella’s partners in crime Roxie and Ruth were great fun characters too. As expected, the narration by Sebastian and CJ made all the characters come alive, conjured faultless imagery and they made this listen absolutely Shimmy Bang.. and yes Sparkle.

For me, A. is for how ADDICTIVE this story was.. C. is for the CHEMISTRY that sizzled between them.. H. is for the HEARTACHE I was left with after the blood and bullets settled.. and E. is for the EMOTIONS that stirred, that blossomed, that bubbled, that burst and bled throughout this all too short listen. It was sweet, it was super hot, it was all kinds of good as a first love turned into a lost love and a new love turned into a forever love.. but what happened in the space in-between was unconditional love. It’s a well narrated love story, it’s a scorching ménage, it’s a mystery suspense as good vs. evil, it’s a triumph and a tragedy and it’s told from three people’s POV.

Worth a credit? Yes I loved it.. even if it didn’t end the way I was hoping.. but I guess it’s those books with that one two sucker punch that are always so unforgettable.. and, hint hint, it leaves a wide open space just crying out (along with me) for a follow-up book. So, please Ms. Never.. I beg you to never say never.. make your fans very happy with a second book about you know who.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod”, and she was “Montana”, but of course those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind. Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape - my sanctuary. Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out. From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed. She was an addiction. At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities...and she was adamant that we keep things that way.

With two mega narrators at the helm of this romance it’s guaranteed to be enjoyable.. and, when it’s also a story written by a favorite author, then I know it’s going to be utterly compelling too.. and it so was. This was a well-paced love story about a beautiful Hollywood hunk who has everything yet is missing that elusive ‘something’ in his life.. and he may just have found it online when something catches his eye that draws him in.. when a sexy distraction slowly becomes his addiction.. when he falls in love and when he finds that missing piece in his life.. was her. But she’ll come with strings.

It’s a refreshingly unusual journey to get to the HEA - the start is guaranteed to cause butterflies as he... and then they... but he... and then she... which caused him to... and he dropped everything to... which shocked him and then wow they... which was sweet... until sad times... until his ex... which caused a shadow... until yay kissy kissy... and more magic moments ensued. The virtual walls between Screen God and Montana slowly came down and the anticipation, the nerves, the dread, the excitement, the droolworthy, the sighworthy, the sweet, the sexy and the tender words of love were all cleverly plotted, were well-paced and expertly placed to conceal then reveal everything.. including the beautiful hearts of Ryder and Eden. Their chemistry, respect and mutual understanding meant there wasn’t any games, no lies or secrets, no other women or men and the potential angst/drama quickly dissolved because they sensibly talked things out together.

Worth a credit? Definitely YES.. it’s a refreshingly different feel-good dual POV romance that’ll put a smile on your face.. it’s cute and funny and it’s got sexy banter too as well as a bucket full of feels. And on point narration by two A list narrators who are at the top of their game ensured maximum enjoyment was guaranteed.
