Isla made one teeny little mistake. Now she and her PI company, Dirty Exes, are being targeted by one seriously angry and furiously sexy ex-quarterback. Jessie freakin’ Beckett. But there’s no way some NFL superhunk is going to take her business away. If only he didn’t make her so hot - and bothered. Jessie wants payback for a ruined reputation. His plan? Top secret. His hard-to-hide arousal for Isla? Not so much. Especially when they let down their guards and sneak a kiss. Like any scandal, it goes so viral, so fast, that only a good lie can combat the bad press.

First of all I have a confession to make.. I am a wee bit of a groupie/stalker when it comes to Teddy Hamilton and I have loved all the books narrated by him.. so of course I was going to get this book. And, if I needed more reasons to get it, they would be that I love RVD books and I also loved the first book in this entertaining series. The well-paced story starts with Jesse and Isla being bitter enemies with Jessie swearing revenge on an innocent Isla.. but, with a rollercoaster forced fake relationship that had a volatile mix of angst, humor, lust, sex, passion and bickering banter, their fun-filled ride ends with love and a sweet HEA. And aunt Goo-Poh, with her quirky antics and chickens, nearly stole the show.

Worth a credit? This was a well-written delicious light story of enemies-to-lovers with awesome dual POV narration and YES, IMO, it is definitely worth a credit.

This time its Crow and Buttons daughter Vanessa who gets entangled in a desperate push/pull relationship with a sworn enemy when she accidentally witnesses Bones doing what he does best and what he is paid to do.. killing someone. It was an accidental meeting.. Vanessa was in the wrong place at the worst time.. however, Bones took the opportunity and grabbed her with the sole intention of humiliating her, videoing her and ultimately killing her on camera to send to Crow as revenge for his father. But, when Vanessa shows she is tough and determined to survive by fighting him at every chance, lines get blurred and things get hot and emotionally very complicated.

I love the way Penelope Sky writes.. she draws you into an instantly addictive dark and twisted story of hate and passion.. and she makes you intrigued by a sexy dangerous alpha anti-hero who you know you shouldnt like but whose backstory has you warming, melting, forgiving, routing and ultimately falling for. However, we are not there yet with the merciless Bones as this ends on a cliffhanger.. and even then it will take ten more books before all the Barsetti family members get their HEA ending.. thankfully they are all written and should be released monthly. This book has explosive chemistry, palpable tension, sensual scenes, angst, suspense and sex (no rape) as Bones and Vanessa tentatively reach an agreement.. a deadly pact.. and a tumultuous relationship that is promised to end in bloodshed.

Worth a credit? Definitely YES.. I have loved each and every thrilling book in the Lingerie series and I always crave the next dual POV instalment because I know its going to be epic and awesome. Great narration brings this riveting storyline to life and ensures its a 5 star listen.

This is the eleventh book in this riveting paranormal series and each one is like visiting old familiar friends.. yet they remain fresh with new characters, situations, revelations and twists.. and this penultimate book in the Guild Hunter series does not disappoint. There is more world-building as a dark Prophecy is drip-fed in suspenseful chapters and a very determined Elena tries valiantly not to succumb to weakness as she fits clues together to find a killer who has struck very close to home. Secrets will emerge, sinners will be revealed, feathers will fall and an Archangel and his Consort will fight a life-threatening Prophecy. Both of them are passionately determined to change what is foretold in bleak cryptic bite sized clues.. but will they succeed?

Brilliant narration as usual by Justine Eyre who delivers an awesome performance of this nail-biting rollercoaster ride into Hell.

Worth a credit? Yes BUT.. I absolutely hate cliffhangers and I hate.. hate.. hate with a passion cliffhangers that keep you waiting for months - or even years for the HEA ending.. so please please please do WHATEVER it takes Ms Singh to stop our tears and tantrums by giving your fans the final bitter-sweet story in this epic series.

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

Yet again these very talented authors kept me awake til the wee hours with their charming characters, their compelling plot with its secrets and their heartwarming yet heartbreaking romance between a burnt yet hopeful heroine and a closed off never going to happen hero. What ensued was a twisted pleasure as their chemistry built and built.. as their interactions became friendlier and friendlier.. as the walls started to crumble then get reinforced.. and, as the loveable heroine worked her many guileless charms to finally penetrate those impenetrable walls.

The addictive dual POV storyline had lots of delicious feels.. and a few heartbreaking ones too.. but the absolute perfection of the narration by two well-loved actors made this a seriously impressive audiobook that I wish I could give ten stars to.

Worth a credit? Absolutely.. and if you have no credits then beg, borrow or.. well, I will not encourage you to steal the money but what is the penalty for a first offence?

Only one person isn't falling for my reputation as the NHL's golden boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend's house. She didn't want to hear my reason - she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time. Adalyn is bold, sassy - and the perfect escape. She's everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly, I need to spend every waking moment with her. But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don't expect is to get her pregnant. What I definitely don't expect is having to fight for her affection.

I was so looking forward to this listen after the previous two books in the series and it started off well.. however it seemed to drag and linger on the same plateau because the hero wanted to get-to-know Adalyn before he took their relationship to the next level. The first book in the series was brilliant and I was absolutely blown away by the well-written, well-planned mix of everything I love.. tension, intrigue, lol humor, romance, passion, loveable characters and sizzling chemistry. But sadly I felt this book had a lot of diluted feels with fragments of humor. The hero was great.. however, the real struggle was how Adalyn treated him when she found out she was pregnant.. with drama, angst and shameful no-no chapters of not telling him about the baby and then chapters upon unforgiving chapters of putting him through heartache because he had been unknowingly traded. There were other conflicts this dislikeable heroine caused between a male friend of hers and the hero which was totally self-centered and selfish.

Worth a credit? Despite the dual POV excellent narration, IMO, there is a world of difference between the first book and this one.. so no, for me, this is not creditworthy. I was expecting to love it.. I wanted to love it.. I tried to love it.. and even though sadly I did not.. maybe you will.

I don’t know what love is anymore. Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark. You know the kind of spark I’m talking about? Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Yeah, that spark. Except I haven't felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem - but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic Nicholas Sparks-type love story.

A really enjoyable, entertaining and easygoing listen that had it all.. romance, passion, sex, drama, angst, laugh out loud humor and an unveiling of heartbreaking secrets. The hero and heroine were loveable and, as they started their no strings relationship, you could feel their chemistry and connection right from the start. Rylee is smart, sassy, saucy and sweet and the hero (no name spoiler in case you have not listened to book 1 yet) is sexy, thoughtful, charismatic, droolworthy and creative. They were wedding crashers from different ends of the country who were no way looking for the one.. but Fate and Destiny would change the lives and futures of these two damaged insecure soulmates. Good secondary characters and the dual POV storyline was expertly brought to life by both narrators.

Worth a credit? I loved it.. maybe not quite as much as I loved book 1.. nevertheless it is still a well-written, very addictive, romantic comedy - with heart, humor, heat and heartbreak.. and YES, it is definitely creditworthy.

I loved.. loved.. loved ABSOLUTELY everything about this well-written, heartwarming, sweet love story as the loveable vivacious sassy Morning TV Co-Anchor went on three very different blind dates.. each date had their pros and cons.. but only one of them would eventually claim her heart. The first date was with The Suit.. but, when things went wrong, a date with The Rebel followed and then The Jock. Well, I swooned, drooled and sighed alongside Noely as each introduction, each date and each relationship went spectacularly right then spectacularly wrong despite their chemistry and attraction. Then came the very romantic Mystery Man and his heartfelt messages.. but which of them was looking for a second chance with Noely?.. hummm, well I had my favorite who I was personally rooting for.. and I happy danced when he eventually revealed himself to be the one.

This is a wonderful slow-burn of a delicious love story 99% told by Noely.. it brings butterflies and goosebumps as each of the blind dates unfold. The three men are all charming, sexy, handsome and charismatic, there are good secondary characters and this very entertaining listen has heat, humor, suspense, secrets, romance and a mystery man to unveil. Good narration too.

Worth a credit? OMG YES.. this book is a MUST for every romance lover.. I could not wait to get to the sighworthy romantic big reveal - but, at the same time, I wanted to drip-feed the paragraphs to slowly savor each and every delicious chapter. And the two remaining bachelors get their own books with their own HEA endings.

Well I thought I knew what to expect from the talented JA Huss but wow.. when partnered with Johnathan McClain, a refreshingly new, refreshingly dynamic and refreshingly funny love story is born. They created two loveable quirky characters who were a perfect fit for each other.. but these authors twisted a wickedly wonderful web of suspicion and secrets around the pair as they played, verbally parried, stumbled with awkward sexcapades and slowly meandered their way to the inevitable bitter-sweet unveiling of the truth. The humor was on pointe.. so was everything else when looking for a humorous love story in this genre.. and the excellent dual POV narration fit the characters perfectly and made this a very enjoyable and entertaining listen.

I don’t know whether it was the meh predictable plot, the lack of chemistry between the 22 yr old Mafia Princess/Ballerina heroine and the 21 yr old Mafia Assassin hero, the underwhelming sex scenes or the one narrator for the dual POV storyline. But whatever it was it wasn’t for me.. yes, it would have been better if it’d been narrated by Sebastian York, but I don’t think even he could’ve saved this audiobook from getting returned. I try to give a book a chance.. to get good.. to recover.. to suddenly wow me.. and I did stick it out for half the book.. but by then I’d had enough.

Everything about Wes reminds me of the man I lost and the life we’d planned together, and after 18 long months struggling just to get out of bed, I’m finally doing okay. I have a new job, an amazing support group, and a beautiful five-year-old daughter to parent. I don’t want to go backward. But I’m drawn to him, too. Your heart will break.. your soul will bleed..and your spirits will soar.

This was a deep and heartfelt story of when and how to move on after a shared loss.. but it’s also a story of second chances, hope and new beginnings. Because shy self-conscious Wes had met Hannah, the love of his life, first, had started a friendship with her and had been plucking up the courage to ask her out.. but it was his cocky confident identical twin brother Drew who’d swooped in and claimed her, married her and too soon left her a grieving widow. Now, after years of drowning his feelings working for Doctors Without Borders, Wes returns home.. he offers friendship to Hannah, to lend her emotional support and to be an uncle to his six year old niece Abby. Yes, Wes yearns for more but he’s realistic it’ll never happen. However, after three long years grieving, his return stirs mixed feelings for Hannah.. yes, Wes’ presence reminds her of her late husband and all she’s lost.. but, he also stirs up new feelings too. Their chemistry is intense and it can’t be ignored.. but dare Hannah risk her heart again, is it taboo to fall in love with your dead husband’s twin and will her mother-in-law who already dislikes her interfere? And will Wes finally fight for the woman who has always had his heart?

This isn’t a ‘feel-good’ story.. and yet you feel good at the end of Wes and Hannah’s emotionally fraught anxiety-filled journey that ends with a very sweet romantic HEA. There’s a lot of inner emotional conflict as Hannah’s head and heart wage war on her already damaged psyche and it takes time, wise words.. and more before Hannah, Wes and Abby can finally forge a forever family. The storyline, chemistry, sex, angst and romance was all perfectly paced.. there’s a time to grieve alongside the characters for what they’d each lost, a time to tentatively hope for new beginnings, a time to swoon and a time worry.. but, in the end, there’s a time to rejoice that love overcame all.

Worth a credit? This is a very different type of love story than I’m personally used to.. it’s moody, raw and real.. but there’s light.. and love.. and laughter at the end of this dual POV well narrated addictive love story that had me staying awake til silly o’clock in the morning. And yes, it’s creditworthy if you too are looking for a multi-layered forbidden love story filled with feels.
