Buddhist monk Wayan Bagus lost his island of solitude and wants to get it back. The island was about 200 miles northeast of Samoa. It had a mountain, beaches, a rainforest, and a volcano. And now it's gone. Poof! Vanished without a trace. Brilliant and boyishly charming Emerson Knight likes nothing better than solving an unsolvable, improbable mystery. And finding a missing island is better than Christmas morning in the Knight household.

I found this book a bit harder to get into than most. I think it was that only one of the main characters was involved for awhile at the beginning. Once it got going and the part of the book, that I would say the others books are like, I lived it. I love these two main characters and their supporting characters. I did find it hard to keep up with all the names, there were so many people involved, you have to pay attention. Or rewind!

Everything that Kipling Gilmore isn't. Her temporary assignment with the Fool's Gold search and rescue team puts her in delicious proximity to the former world-class skier every day. Part of her aches to let go for once...the rest is terrified what'll happen if she does.

I really liked this book. I know others didn't think it was great and yes, you figured out what was going to happen part way through but you didn't know when and how. It was a story, a good story, human interest, the characters were great, loved the narrator. I love Nora Roberts, Love her as JD Robb, I find all her books to be entertaining and that's what I want out of a book, to be entertained. So give it a listen or a read and no matter that its not sitting on the end of your seat stressful it is still a good book!

The conclusion to this series was exceptional and the narrator was excellent. I just love Susan Ericksen as well. I wish she had narrated the second book! If you love Nora Roberts you'll love this trilogy, with this one the perfect ending.

Same characters with some new ones added in. Great banter between Savitch and Sherlock. Family and mystery. Always someone trying to kill someone else. Just a good book, as always!

For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

I love these books. This one was as good as the rest. It was great that there was a lot about their family in this one, I really like that side of the stories. Her style is very much the same in all these books but she changes them up just enough to make you want to listen more. Narrator is also fantastic. I'm so used to the voices and the characters if any one else was to narrate the books it would definatly not be the same. Can't wait for the next one! To bad we can't get another one each month!

I LOVE these books, I wait all year for them to come out and this one left me flat. I'm not sure why, maybe it was the back and forth between 2 different cases and the new characters, i'm not sure, but it was not my favorite Catherine Coulter, I ended up disappointed. I feel really bad saying that. I love Savich & Sherlock, love the interpersonal relationships and this one didn't have it for me. Hopefully the next one will be back up to parr.
