First of all, this story is told by Andi Arndt who is a narrating genius. Her timing and pace are perfect. You can tell she is invested in bringing the story to life. It never sounds like she is "reading" to you. This was one of the best audiobooks that I have listened to. It will be high up on my list.

So let's talk about the story. It's told from Clem's point of view. We start off the story as she has just woken up after a hospitalization that left her with amnesia. She has very little clues to lead her to info on what her life was like before. She wanders into Ed's tattoo shop to see if he will give her any information. She had broken up with him a month before. Throughout this story, you learn about what her personality was like before which is pretty different from what she is like now. She had me in stitches. Apparently, her ability to filter her thoughts is gone and she blurts out exactly what she is thinking. I couldn't have loved her more. Her character is refreshing and different.

I found myself really feeling heartbroken for Ed. He remembers everything about what went down before her memory loss and it causes him to feel torn between anger for what she did before and sympathy for where she is now. Just adored the two of them together.

There is a bit of mystery going on throughout this story and it had me on edge. I felt like I needed to peek around every corner and watch over my shoulder.
In a field of stories that sometimes feel hard to get into, this story was the complete opposite. I was reeled in from the very beginning and didn't want to turn it off.

Cross Jacobs was a screw-up. Everyone knew it, especially him, and the point was hammered home when Kallie Welch drove herself right out of his life. But she’s back. Seeing Cross wasn’t on Kallie’s to-do list. She didn’t think she could avoid him forever, but trying never hurt anyone. One minute she’s standing by herself, and the next she’s accosted by a rich, velvety scent that could belong to only one man: Cross. At face value, he’s divine. All rugged and confident, with a smile that melts her right where she’s standing.

I was so impressed by how much story we got in this novella. I usually struggle with short stories but this one felt so complete. It might be because it was in the middle of a series and you had the other books to draw on for a connection with the characters, but I really think there was a lot of meat here. It's a second chance, small town story that is so hot and full of emotion. The narration as usual was brilliant. These two make quite the audiobook team.

They’re not quite enemies, and not really friends. More like frustrated balls of sexual tension, Lance Gibson drives Mariah Malarkey absolutely crazy. He uses her office like a phone booth, and takes cupcakes from the corner of her desk like she baked them just for him. She didn’t. Maybe she knew the history teacher happened to love peanut butter icing, but that was purely a coincidence. Mariah has a way of getting under Lance’s skin, too. She calls him out on his crap, spoils him even if inadvertently, and, seeing the librarian in skirts, drives him wild. She won’t give in.

The narration on this story, as usual, was perfection. Wen and Kai just always embody all of Adriana's characters.

The story was so full of heart and feelings. In the beginning of the story, Lance comes across as this man whore just looking for the next good time. But as you go along, you find out what his real story is. He finds himself crazy about the school librarian that he works for named Mariah. I found myself completely invested in this couple. You know they are just perfect for each other but have to watch them figure that out for themselves. I have the best time with the Gibson family. The camaraderie amongst the boys is hilarious.

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin. At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

This story has all the things. It's a college romance. Sort of hate to love genre.
You have a cocky football player who is intrigued by his tutor. Most of all, he can't understand why she won't give him the time of day. I have to say that I enjoyed Charlotte's character so much. Love a strong heroine who has her own standards and sticks to them. But, Grayson finds a way of winning her over. The way that this story is told is very clever. It's a dual POV, bouncing back and forth between the present and the past and slowly reveals the story in a suspenseful, twisty way.
The climax of the story just took my breath away.

The narrators did an amazing job! They really brought this story to life and just completely embodied the characters.
Highly recommend this one.

The lives of Dean Wagner and Tatum Fields have been ruled by the hand of fate. The past six years of my life have been consumed by guilt. Since we lost Landon to a fire, I’ve done everything in my power to protect my daughter, Leila, from finding out the truth about how her twin brother died. Nothing in my life means more to me than her. Not my band, not my reputation. Nothing. Until I see Tatum, the woman I saved on the beach the same night she dealt with a loss of her own. I really wanted to love this story. It is a good story and I loved the characters, but I found myself struggling with it.
I'm not sure if I would have felt differently if I had read it and maybe it just didn't translate well to audio??
It seemed kind of repetitive and therefore felt like the story was drawn out. And by the end, I could predict what would happen. There was a lot of time spent inside the characters heads and maybe that just isn't the kind of story for me.... but other people may love it!

This is one mistake Sienna Landry can't buy her way out of. As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she's in trouble. It's not the busted headlight and dented grill that's sunk her though. It's the downright sinful man in front of her that's the problem. The small-town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline, and Sienna isn't sure why that's so sexy, but it is. It so is.

Crank is the first book in the Gibson Boys Series. I was hooked from the beginning. All of these brothers are hilarious and sexy. This book focuses on Walker Gibson, who is a mechanic and owns his own shop called Crank. When Sienna Landry "accidentally" takes a bat to Walker's truck, she needs to find a way to pay him for repairs and so she decides to help out in his shop. Their attraction is obvious and the sexual chemistry is off the charts and it's only amplified by the amazing narration of Wen and Kai. I have enjoyed every narration that I've heard them do. There were parts of this story that took my breath away. Surprises that you don't necessarily see coming. I'm moving right along to the next story in this series which is Craft (Lance's story).

This story is ridiculous and fun. Auggie is one of those genuine characters that is a bit awkward, but not compromising his beliefs for anyone, not even a chance at his dream girl. His grandma and Tunes. I just could not get enough of those crazy old broads. A shorter story to be sure, but fully packed of adventures. A great book for if you are looking for something lighter and different. At first, I thought the narrator was talking a little fast, but he was phenomenal. He had so many different voices to do and it was fantastic.

There's something about Cutter King that reminds me of every bad relationship I've been in and every bad decision I've ever made.... He's desperately good looking, but he knows it. He's built sturdy and strong like a tank, but he's reckless. He looks like every woman's fantasy, yet for me he's a nightmare. Too bad I owe him big time. And now he's moved in next door to collect.

I enjoyed this story. I have to say that I didn't read/listen to the first 2 in the series and while this is a standalone... I feel like I would have benefited from reading the others. The first part of this story, I felt a tiny bit lost as I wasn't familiar with the characters. That didn't factor into my scoring of this review as that was my fault for jumping in. But if you are thinking about reading this story, why not read the others first! Now, I enjoyed this story, Cutter and Sloan are very interesting characters. I love how independent and confident they are. That is totally sexy. If you like alpha males, then Cutter will be right up your alley. There is just enough mystery to keep you on the edge of your seat, but mostly this story focuses on the relationship between the 2 of them. The narrators did a great job of making you feel like you were watching the story rather than them just reading it to you.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

We're all home to celebrate Dad's retirement as one big happy family, except my newlywed brother's already getting divorced, my mom keeps asking why I'm still single, and most frustrating of all, Barrett Wilson is staying with us at my parents' home for the weekend. I've known Barrett for years, so why am I suddenly noticing so many new things about him - like how big he is? It's maddening.

I have to say that this might be one of the audio books that I've enjoyed listening to more than reading. I feel like if I had read this book, it might have been a little slow and predictable. But the narrators really brought this story to life! We all know what "Bro Code" is... the story revolves around Ava and Barrett. Barrett is Ava's older brother's best friend and they grew up together. They harbored some secret crushes and when they are thrown together on a trip back to the home town by Barrett years later, all bets are off! They are an enjoyable, realistic type couple. If you are looking for a story with little drama or angst, then this would fit the bill. It's also a bit shorter than most audiobooks so it doesn't take too long to get through it. I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by these guys.
