When Rose sets her sights on one man, she's determined that he'll be the one that her Aunt arranges for her marriage. After the wedding however, she quickly discovers that marriage isn't all she thought it would be and that Shawn is perfectly content with not being in a loving relationship, as long as he gets the other benefits. It took me a bit to warm up to Rose, but I really enjoyed this story and the characters growth along the way.

This book made me fall in love with the characters through laughter and tears!

The storyline was a little slow for my liking, but I tend to listen to quicker pace stories at work to make the day go fast. It's a charming, clean read that I'll probably revisit and give another go! The narrator was wonderful, and honestly, the only reason I kept trying to finish the story. I love how she brings the characters to life, I just needed more comedy or drama!

As an NHL player, relationships haven't been my thing. Shrouded in secrecy and speculation, they never last very long. But then that's what happens when you require an NDA before the first date. Until Charlene. She's like a firefly. She's elusive, and if you catch her she'll burn bright, but keeping her trapped dulls her fire and dims her beauty. I caught her. And as much as I might want to keep her, I'll never put the lid on her jar. Not at the risk of losing her. So I've let her set the rules in our relationship.

The final book in the series is my first read and I loved it! I always listen to the comedy romance books while at work, and my co-workers enjoy making fun of me when I start laughing out loud. This book has plenty of romance, laughter and serious moments. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline, and will definitely be going back to read the rest of the series now too!

This book in the At The Altar series, brings us to Cissie, the siren of karaoke. After the previous book, where her best friend Cindy meets the love of her life, Cissie is more than ready to get married.
Bob contacts Lachele, after not having the nerve to approach Cissie himself. Sparks fly, but a few secrets come out and the newlyweds have to find a way to overcome and forgive.
This one put me through all ranges of emotions and I loved the chemistry and banter between the two main characters!
