I am just not sure people actually converse like this in real life. The characters are nice enough but their overly sweet and intense dialogue was just so disingenuous.

I love this book! I love the characters, the setting, the dialogue.......all of it. The author’s insight into the relationship between the adults and the students was so realistic. Although I am not sure if our teachers could use the language that these teachers did, I am sure everyday they want to. The main characters are likable and deserving of the feelings they have for one another. I think the history between them makes the relationship between them very believable. And the internal musings and dialogue were hilarious.

I found this story to be a lovely telling of a relationship that could be real. I find so often in modern romance novels that they skip the getting to know each other part and just get busy. I don’t mind the getting busy parts ( and this story has some fantastic ones) but this relationship was built on genuine affection and mutual interest. The things that glue a relationship together. I love that it took a little while for them to indulge in a physical relationship. The characters were good people and good to each other.
The authors description of Paris were enticing. The way she would speak about fragrances had such a romantic quality and you could not only visualize what she saw in her head when describing them but also feel what she felt when enjoying the scents.
By far my favorite of Lauren Blakey so far! Oh, the narrators were fantastic! Always a fan of Grace Grant! Richard Armitage...........yum!

I love the way these two women write. Their characters are so endearing and the situations they are in are always interesting and creative. And they make me laugh. Hard. And to the dismay of my husband, loud.

The narration was fantastic also!

With all the cookie cutter romance novels out there right now, this book was such a pleasant surprise. The main male character was fantastic and what women want but real and flawed. The female lead character the same. I love all the knowledge of organic farming and the trials and tribulations that they go through to put food on our tables. It made the story far more realistic. No billionaire wonder boys here. Thank goodness.

This writing team never fail to produce stories filled with smart humor, great characters and steamy but loving relationship that you always want more of. And although I love all of their couples, Hahna and Will are hands down my favorite. The first part of their story was so brilliantly funny that I think I have listened to it four of five times. This little addition was great. My only complaint, and it is just me being selfish, is that it was just to short. I could always use more of all their characters. I hope we get a little more of them in the future.

This second installment of the "Stage Dive" series is fantastic. The dialogue between Mal and Ann was so very smart and funny. I always love when an author of a series is able to truly define each personality from book to book. Kylie Scott did an excellent job with this one. David and Evelyn were still so defined in this second book. The narrator did a great job helping with this task. Overall, an excellent and fun romance with just enough drama to make it exciting.

Another fantastic addition for these great writers

What made the experience of listening to Dirty Rowdy Thing the most enjoyable?

The characters are fantastic. The writers have such a gift for creating these wonderful people. Each with their distinct personalities, stories and experiences. Throughout all of their books they give us such funny, intelligent, crazy, wise and definitely sexy characters.

What other book might you compare Dirty Rowdy Thing to and why?

The first in the series of course. It was also delightful. Plus everything from the " Beautiful " series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

All of the books by these authors make me laugh so hard. I would love to meet them both and go have a cocktail. I think it would be a hoot!

Any additional comments?

The narrators are great!

What disappointed you about A Taste of You?

Everything.

Has A Taste of You turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not the ones that are well written.

What didn’t you like about Jennifer Mack’s performance?

Her male voices sound like teen age boys. They are not commanding at all, giving the male characters very little credibility.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment.

What disappointed you about Breathe?

The story was rushed and the characters undeveloped

What was most disappointing about Lauren Jameson’s story?

Everything. I felt the story was predictable and boring and the writing juvenile and flat.
