After Violet saves the day with the highest bid, I don't even give her a two-minute warning before I kiss her in front of the whole crowd, and then announce that she's my girlfriend. Which would be fine, except my agent tells me we've got to keep up the act while he's negotiating my contract. Violet takes one for the team and pretends to be mine, but our boyfriend-girlfriend scrimmage quickly turns into a full contact sport, and I want it to go into overtime. The problem is - I've been riding the bench for years.

I love reading Lauren Blakey and when she has Zachary Webber narrate.....OMG!!!!! She doesn’t overall dramatize her reads and you’re not not exhausted at the end needing it to just be over. Finally reads that allow you to get a hefty dose of romance and communication.

A social experiment (a scary but exciting concept): marry a total stranger, live together for six months, and journal everything. Feelings. Fights. All of it. After six months, we each get $50,000 in exchange for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches. I have never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate. I couldn't wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me.

My only complaint was the male narrator. It was very hard to listen to his voice. NOT the voice the author described as deep and mesmermizing. Definitely didn’t fit a rockers raspy tone.

Maisy is happily content with the life she's built for herself and her young son in small-town Prescott, Montana. Her child is thriving, her business is growing, and her family is as close as they've ever been. But when a handsome stranger walks into the lobby of her motel, her simple life is swept up in a wave of affection for his gentle heart. None of those feelings can be trusted, though. She made that mistake before with another man. The man she murdered.

The entire Jamison Valley series is FANTASTIC! This book culminates with Mazie finally finding her happy with many unexpected turns. I have come to love this author because she doesn’t drag the drama out, exhausting the reader. She has extremely talented narrators, as well. My oh my, I’m sad the series is over. Hope you enjoy all of her books as much as I did.

Ambrose Young was beautiful. He was tall and muscular, with hair that touched his shoulders and eyes that burned right through you. The kind of beautiful that graced the covers of romance novels, and Fern Taylor would know. She'd been reading them since she was 13. But maybe because he was so beautiful he was never someone Fern thought she could have...until he wasn't beautiful anymore.

The Harris Brothers Series done in duet was absolutely fantastic. Dominate is the last in the series unless we can talk the author, Amy Daws, into continuing the story.
I laughed out loud, cried out loud and HATED when the story ended but then THAT’S what a good book draws from its readers. You will be sucked into the family and be right there with them through each and every moment. I listened straight through and don’t regret how tired I am today. Well worth the extra caffeine.

Storyline is good but the narrator is not. She reads too fast, has poor inflection and doesn’t pay attention to grammar. She also doesn’t pronounce words correctly. If you’re reading a medical romance then you make sure you know how to pronounce fairly common medical terms. During book two it became even more distracting.
