Pete Ohms is a terrible narrator!!! he sounds like Captain Kirk!! The obvious pause he does in between every other work is killing me!!! I am unable to listen to ANY book that he narrates.

In Stern, Stern Westmoreland never makes mistakes...until he helps his best friend, Jovonnie "JoJo" Jones, with a makeover - for another man. Now Stern wants JoJo for himself. Their attraction is undeniable, and there's only one way to prove it: one long, steamy night together as much more than friends! In Bachelor Untamed, Ellie Weston is back at her great-aunt's lake house, and so is Uriel Lassiter - still wildly sexy, single, and happy to stay that way.

If you could sum up Stern & Bachelor Untamed in three words, what would they be?

Wonderful. Great. Awesome.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the basic story line of girl loves boy but boy doesn't know. Boy loves girl, but refuses to give in to it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

OMG!!! He needs to STOP trying to narrate a girls voice. Its SOOOOOOOOOOOO painful to hear. I would rather he just read it without doing character voices. If it wasn't for the story line I would have stopped listening all together.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The narration of this book made it hard to really get into the book. I love Brenda Jackson's books and can get into it with a laugh at some points. This book I just couldn't!!!!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better narrator for this book. The voices he uses for Bryant is so damn hard to listen too. I just couldn't listen pass chapter 2. These are supposed to be African American characters, but yet, he made them sound like white bougies!!

What was most disappointing about Rochelle Alers’s story?

The story sounds good. I just think I would enjoy this better as a hard copy book or e-reader.

How could the performance have been better?

Get a female narrator or at least another one.
