I was expecting the story to be a bit more dramatic but I still love every minute of the fanfic from fangirl.

This book in a way reminds me of an infomercial with all the "but wait there’s more". The mix of ingredients make this story full, complex and really enjoyable for those who know some of the stories that surround Enchanted it enriches the story itself. From the retelling of "The frog prince", mixed with the nursery rhyme "Monday's Child", godmothers and enchantments you can't wait to see what new story will jump into the mix.
The audio book is one of those that I fell in love fast and it’s all thanks to the combination of a great story with a great narrator. Katherin Kelgren gives this story a homey fee; and the way she gives each character a unique voice helps the listener stay on track with the story.
I would recommend this book for people that like retellings, this one makes a really complex world where several of the stories we all know are interconnected in interested ways, that left me wondering what story she would add into the mix next and how it will change the story for all of us.
I need Katherine Kellgren to do the other books!!!! Please audio gods make it happen!

It has been a while since I finished a book and felt the unstoppable desire to writhe a review, and I guess I’ll be waiting a little longer as this is an audio book.
Because of the good combinations between Veronica Rossi’s story and Bernadette Dunne Flanger’s narration I find myself craving to read the fisical book, to see how the taste of the story changes from Miss Bernadette’s words bringing this world to live to my imagination standing alone in Aria’s and Perry’s world.
Bernadetter Dunne Flanger made this audio book totally enjoyable, it was amazing to me how she made the story feel like it was just alive and how you could hear her voice transformed into a subtle laughter, sadness or whatever feeling needed to conveyed as she embodied Aria, Perry and Roar.
I really don't remember feeling like she cut the flow of the story or that she messed up at expressing what the story or its characters needed to show us. All I can say is that as the story grew to its climax I was unable to leave, even if I had had something important to do I was trapped in this story that wouldn't let me go and I wouldn't have gotten away from it either.
I am sad to see that Bernadette is not the narrator for the second book, I hope Michael Goldstrom does a fair job keeping the story alive the way that she did.
If you were thinking about trying an audiobook or where looking for one to listen to, let me tell you this is a great pick, the swoon moments, the tension, the stress, surprise, relief and romance is well worked and played by both Veronica Rossy and Bernadetter Dunne Flanger.

What would have made Art Geeks and Prom Queens better?

A better story, less obnoxious characters and a heroine that would not let everyone push her around and then instead of accepting her part she would blame it on everybody else

What could Alyson Noël have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Let Rio fight for control over her life!!!!

What about Katie Schorr’s performance did you like?

Katie Schorr was the reason I got as far into the book as I could, I did not finished it but I go a little bit over 50% of the book and it's all thanks to her narrative skills.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not that I can think of.

Any additional comments?

It felt like a bad adaptation of the move Mean Girls
