I love Daphne du Maurier and this is one of my favorites of hers. The narrator was superb.

This author has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. Her character development - even in these short stories - is wonderful. The first story was spine chilling and I absolutely loved, same with the second and the last. The middle two stories I could have done without, but that's what you get with a compilation
of shorts. I would still recommend - some of the stories haunted me for days after!
