Who knew real estate could be so much fun! This is such a fun cozy mystery. I love Cindy's spunk and ability to attract trouble. She's 44 years old and 8 months pregnant at the start of this book and finds herself facing another dead body. She off again to solve another murder since the police aren't interested in investigating the murder of a convicted murder. These books can stand alone but they are fun enough I would recommend reading them all in order. The narrator is top notch and is simply a lot of fun to listen to. If you like the clean cozy mysteries then you'll love this series!

I read the first book so I was looking forward to this one. I wasn't disappointed, it's a fun and interesting mix of genres with the PI mystery and all the fun fantasy characters... It has everything from demons, fairies, witches, sirens and more. This series has been a lot of fun. On a morality rating there is some language but otherwise was pretty clean. It is geared toward the teen to YA readers that are into fantasy and mysteries. I felt the narrator did a better job on this one then she did on the first book.

I have read some of the other books in this series and have loved them all... This one was even better. I loved the plot. A girl thrown out of her mother's house without any help or guidance tries to make it but in that time period there were not a lot of options for women. She ends up in a saloon and works as a sporting woman but obviously doesn't want to stay so she saves, escapes, and switches places with a mail order bride not intending to actually marry the man. From there the story is off and so hard to put down. I love the clean historical romance genre and had a great time with this story. The narrator did a wonderful job and was simply a lot of fun to listen to.

The job sounded simple enough. Rid the village of an ogre and rescue the girl. In return, the local lord would overlook that ugly business in the church. It was nothing he hadn’t dealt with before. That was before he heard the howls coming from the Bog of Móin Alúin. Before he crossed paths with the headless rider. Before he woke to find the witch’s crooked fingers on his face. Now, Berengar must unravel the labyrinth of secrets and lies surrounding the village before a deadly curse claims his life, all while a darker evil looms in the shadows....

This book is definitely a great one for those who like fantasy, adventure, and RPG like Dungeons and Dragons. It is well written and also has an excellent narrator to perform the story. I have listened to other books in this category and for me it's been a bit hit or miss on finding a good one, so I was really pleased that this one turned out to be so creative and entertaining. It has a great pace to the story with one main plot with several smaller tasks to be completed along the way. I would say that due to the graphic violence and mild language in this one I would place it as an older middle school age to adult read.

No spoilers here... but I do want to start out with my morality rating, due more to the content of story than anything I would say this in a movie would be PG13-R- backstories are rough with sexual assault and murder. I think it's a great book for the YA to adult readers. It's more geared towards those who enjoy the police investigations and courtroom scenes. It's long enough that you can't finish it in one sitting, and there are places that I could naturally stop it and not feel the need to stay up all night to finish it.... which for me was nice. The narrator does a great job and was fun to listen to.

I was a little surprised in the story style since I read the blurb and it didn't really match. It does a great job explaining the plot but doesn't really allude to the amount of romance. On a morality level, this is a YA to an adult read. The intro starts out with Hannah finishing up a light porn photo shoot because she's a struggling photographer. It set a completely different tone for the book then I was anticipating. I really liked the storyline with Hannah inheriting a very valuable Navajo blanket and then her niece gets kidnapped and held for ransom.... she winds up in France to save her niece and her adventures pull in an FBI agent. There's a lot of hormonal sexual attraction for Hannah with the FBI agent and at times I feel it took away from the story. Overall, really fun story with a fantastic narrator, great for the YA to adult readers looking for a mystery/adventure with romance thrown in.

I haven't read the other's in this series but you really don't need to because she does an amazing job of giving the details you need to keep you from feeling lost or like you missed something important. I wouldn't mind reading the rest of the series since all of her books have turned out to be so much fun. The narrator does a great job and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute listening to him. If you like the Regency style and clean romance then you'll love this book.

This book was a lot of fun! If you like superhero novels then this one won't disappoint. I have two son's who are big into them so when I saw this one pop up on my reading list I jumped on it. I loved the plot, character development, and how it wasn't a typically predictable superhero story. The narration was great and only made it that much more enjoyable. Definitely a great book for the superhero readers and moviegoers. I am hoping book two isn't too far out from release as I can't wait to read more.

I loved this book. The storyline is modern, believable, and a true to life rollercoaster. It's a story of an on and off romance... thrown back into each other's paths at a wedding. The spark is still there but are they on or off or... on again???? It has highs and lows at a fast enough pace to keep you engaged. The narrator does a wonderful job with the acting, voices, and was simply a lot of fun to listen to. And Pamela Ferguson does such a good job connecting you to the characters that make it such a great read. It's a clean romance, free of bad language and sex scenes.
