As one of the top paid defense-men in the NHL, my life has been a revolving door of beautiful women and no-strings-attached sex. Until Brynne. It was only supposed to be a one-night-fling. Hell, it wasn't even supposed to be that. I knew the cardinal rule. Don't touch the coach's daughter. And for years, I kept my hands to myself. It wasn't difficult considering Brynne Jacobs hates my guts.

I'm not a huge sports romance fan they are not on my top reads list.
that being said this was a goid book well written and thought out.
it has all the parts you want in a story including a happy ending.
touches on a lot of things relavent in today's troubles as well.
and of course has the addition of a cute baby which is always a plus for smiles.
I have read a few books by this author and not 1 has disappointed me.

narration though I wasn't wowed by this narrator she was high intense the whole time robotic sounding a lot and winey sounding. I think it should have been duel narrated to break up that even though that's only my opinion and I've been wrong before I still say this book is worth the read either in writing or on audible!

I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

Love doesn't hurt. Expectations do. Those words were scribbled on the outside of her English binder, but I knew even then that they may as well have been tattooed on the fragments of her heart. My girl was broken, damaged, and yet I loved her. Foolishly, I'd thought I'd be able to banish her darkness, but I'd only chased it away for a few moments in the sun. I was too damn young to understand the demons she was fighting. But I'd soon be faced with my own darkness. Instead of me healing her, she would break me.

why does a man always act like a hardass In front of his friends when they are young.

This was a good story with action and suspense mixed in.

why do women hear something and are too quick to assume the worst.

Love is never easy or without heartache.

why can't two people just say what they mean and be straight up blunt about things.

you miss out on to much by not letting feelings out and over thinking everything.

buy this story and enjoy

only bad thing for me was I didn't care for the female narration in this book it just didn't fit. the tone of her voice seemed to whispered and bland but the guys part deep and sexy and" growls"

One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Late Victorian London. When James Miller, the most respectable of Scottish businessmen, is pulled, dead, from the Thames, his daughter is drawn into an investigation which reveals a whole world of secrets and corruption. Alongside local detective Culley, Catriona’s search for her father’s killer leads all the way to the tragic truth behind the ghostly legend of The Darkwater Bride and the power of her deadly kiss. An epic drama starring Adrian Scarborough, Claire Corbett, Freya Mayor and Jamie Glover, The Darkwater Bride combines the genres of the Victorian mystery thriller with the equally classic Victorian mode of the ghostly tale.

I didn't care for all the babbling blunder from characters and the way they made the daughter so easily pulled around.

I am drawn to these stories of the past even though they Truley break my heart to know just how awful life was back then
it's Truley a pure evil what Jews had to survive and I can not understand how Hitler was allowed to do such horrible things and why so many innocent lives were taken for no good reason. as many historical books I've never found a valid reason human beings let these Truley awful things happen.
