This is the most enjoyable, entertaining, exciting, romantic and suspenseful novel I have ever read. The adventure covers all terrains, American revolution ( best way to learn history), love, loyalty, god, religion, the good, the bad and the evil. I strongly recommend to everyone who enjoys good quality story telling. Great for medical students or professionals - the pressure and heavy responsibilities of being a surgeon. I learned a lot about herbs and plants through out the series. Such a wonderful experience with The Fraser families, their journey, struggle, grief, death and happiness. The narrator brought the story to life. Most of all thank you Ms. Gabaldon for the beautiful story telling.

Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Enjoy the story of early American revolution and warfare. How it evolved from different countries in Europe to the North America. Who were the generals and commanders. Interesting and informative. Also the Slave Trades, Independent Day, Seven Years’ War, Civil War, Indian Wars etc. . . Amazing! Glad we came a very long way from those days.

A Study in Scarlet was the very first Sherlock Holmes novel. Here, in the most remarkably precise manner, Doyle produced two of the most well-known characters in English fiction. Their individual traits and their relationships, their ambitions and foibles are introduced against the backdrop of an exciting story of revenge and persistence, which starts in Victorian England but moves to the American West, and the environment of the early Mormon communities.

Not sure

What do you think your next listen will be?

"Einstein and the Quantum" and "Einstein's Relativity and the Quantum"

How could the performance have been better?

Write strictly on physics

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Wrong choice, move on . . .

Any additional comments?

Author is a good lecturer/ teacher. He bring fun into the classroom - better to be one of his students, maybe not his reader.
