I really enjoyed the first which kept to a largely believable plot line.
This has so much nonsense:
Someone lay perfectly still while laying in hydrochloric acid for a decent period of and suffered non-fatal injuries to only her back and was able to move freely within 12 months!
A person gets an artery breaking shoulder wound, is rescued, frozen, has major surgery but 3 days later is up and about and hitch a ride in a truck!!
The villain has more tricks and gadgets than a Bond villain!

And there is a The Angst!!! Too painful and made me so grateful for the 30 second advance option!

No sure I will risk the 3rd one

The required physical effort for a 37yo desk jockey was a bit of stretch as it needed Jason Bourne levels of toughness

I have read two of them now and love the plot lines, the language and George's narration.
I have reach a point where I no longer think I am listening to Mitch Rapp!

The plot was lame at best and highly contrived and unbelievable at the worst.
Frankly it looks like one that was churned out to satisfy contractual obligations

I loved Lincoln Rhymes but I urge all his fans to avoid this one.
