Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.

The story of a family through the eyes of a dog! This is for dog-lovers and non-dog-lovers alike. A wonderful break from my normal genre of mysteries and legal stories. I don't talk about books I'm reading very often, but this is it!

Not her best - but it is Sandra Brown

I always look for new releases by Sandra Brown, so I came across this one. I would always choose one of her novels. I went with it despite the negative reviews. It was entertaining, but definitely all over the place! Too many subplots. When I thought I was winding up the book, I was surprised to see that I had 3 hours left! A bit formulaic, but entertaining enough. Lots of Sandra Brown signature moments. I wouldn't put it at the top of your list, but when you need a new read, I wouldn't pass it up because of the reviews.
