Every church and ministry goes through changes in leadership, and the issue is far bigger than the wave of pastors from the baby boomer generation who are moving toward retirement. When a pastor leaves a church, ministries are disrupted, and members drift away. If the church is already struggling, it can find itself suddenly in very dire straits indeed. But the outcome doesn't have to be that way. What if when a pastor moved on, the church knew exactly what to do to find a suitable replacement because a plan and a process had been in place for some time?

The original, full accounting of a rebellion in the Heart of Dixie.

A maverick, unionist district in the heart of the Old South? A notorious county that seceded from the Confederacy? This is how Jones County, Mississippi, is known in myth and legend. Since 1864 the legend has persisted. Differing versions give the name of this new nation as Republic of Jones, Jones County Confederacy, and Free State of Jones. Over the years this story has captured the imaginations of many.

Many people have used the term "wellness" to emphasize that positive health is much more than simply being free from illness - there is an additional quality to maintaining a health well-being. I use the term "fitness" to try and capture this same concept. Fitness is a condition reached through striving for optimal quality of life in all aspects: social, mental, psychological, spiritual, and physical. These aspects of fitness are interrelated: a high level in one of the areas enhances other areas.

Are you trying to deal with an alcoholic, a friend or relative that alcoholism is their way of living? It can be really difficult living or dealing with a close friend or a family member that is drinking to get 'drunk' one, two times a week (and in a lot of cases, daily). If you find yourself in this situation, I believe my book will help you out. I will first share two of my experiences and stories and then I will offer suggestions as to what I feel may help you. I, the author of this book, have lived and dealt with several drunks in my life.
