Grace Hall is a nurse, not a doctor. But when five Preor warriors are brought to the emergency room and the doctors won't touch the aliens, she steps forward. One warrior draws her more than the others. His teal wings, muscular body, and pain-glazed eyes have her torn between two desires - needing his touch and desperation to heal him. She's going to save the Preor males, even if it kills her.

This duo narration team have connected with me. There are still some minor issues with distinguishing gender at times. The audio was smooth and clear.

Noah and Andrea had something meaningful at one point in time. Something changed all that and now things are tenuous at best. Fir Andrea coming back home may have been the best thing for her, but the memories may chase her away. Noah held on to his desire for the land and the woman, but he would not just give in. I found a few holes in information. Left me wanting more.

Narration was okay but a bit confusing at time. Not always a clear gender ringing through. Hope for more on follow up.

Narration helps things go along but you could g at just as much satisfaction out of reading this one. Narration is no key factor to add to or take away from enjoyment.

Rayne and Kyndal were fascinating as individuals and conjoling as a couple. She would never leave him guessing for long. She was strong, fierce, independent, and determined.

Hollie does well as a narrator for fantasy, pnr, and sci fi. She has a semi lyrical quality to her voice. She give acceptable males and it's easy to determine gender and character most of the time.

Audio makes this a worthy afternoon listen while driving down the road, cleaning house, lounging by the pool, or just doing mindless work. The ebb and flow of the dual narration makes for an engaging sweet romance. You get all the words brought to life and made more vivid in your mind. I am a huge fan of audio books. I love the previous narrator of the series up to this point. I was hesitant to have all that change to a dual narration without her anywhere involved. I was surprised. Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden makes for a convincing duo. I did find that I could get lost just as easily in their cadence, pitch and flow. The audio was smooth and flowing. The only issue was at time distinguishing the females was a small challenge and the male laced female voices on occasion. The audio still lived up to making a picture turn in my mind.

The audio allows you to feel the heat and passion even without the explicit comments or descriptives. Listening to Hunter and Jana fall in love was beautiful. Embraced at Seaside was very much beach worthy, fireplace worthy, hot-steamy bubble bath worthy, need for hope worthy read/listen that will send warmth and pleasure racing through you. Addison Cole has taken her works and made the to where they included the reading populations that can do without all the details of the coming together, but still coming together. The story itself stands all on its own

No idea what I was getting myself into, but that was not the issue. I was pulled in by the fact that it was going to take place in the highlands of Scotland and that there was an element of romance, a bit of suspense and mystery and the story took place across time. Kat of modern times and Simeon a cursed highland male. This was one that required you to pay attention, sit back and enjoy the journey as it began in 1600s Scotland. Come on and enjoy the ride.

The narration from Greg Patmore brings to life the depth of the Scottish hills and this unlikely romance of a modern theif and a highland warrior. I loved the accent and the rich timber that resonated throughout the story. I felt immersed in the world of highland warriors and a modern times thief. It was the narration that pulled it all together for me and allowed me to feel part of the historical/contemporary fiction.
