I love shifters, especially hot sexy, protective, confusing shifters. Now the shifters are out of the shadows and in to the light. With the help of Audrey Lusk, Lorelei Moone brings some of her fan-favs to us with clarity, smooth flow of audio, and a layer of connection on multiple levels. The audio was a bonus for those that have read it or not. You can continue on with your day an get a good listen with a good set of various characters, friends and foes.

Alpha Squad Collection of novellas was fun filled, some action, some intensity, some suspense, some shifting, some entanglements collection of Alpha, attractive, sexy, strong, protective, hot males shifters and a female or two. This was a complete series read with all the books in one place and one tap to have the next page on the screen. This made for a smooth reading afternoon early evening read.

Alpha Squad: Boot Camp – Eric and Janine
Eric and Adam find that they are heading for a new world of adventure and love. Eric just never expected that he would be working so close to the one that would be his for life. Janine has been chosen to help with the leading of the Alpha Squad. She just never expected to find that she would have so much to gain or lose all in one assignment.

Alpha Squad: Friends & Foes – Adam and Felicity
Adam, may just have to help put down his mate, Felicity. He knows deep down that she belongs to him and she could not be behind the attacks on humans. She determined to find out who was trying to frame her people for the attacks on the humans that were taking place so close to where there of unwanted shifters are located. Someone was out to get her and the shifters and make them pay for crimes they had no part in.

Alpha Squad: Infiltrator – Thomas and Jill
Thomas had me from the first book in this series. I found him to be enthusiastic and easy going. Private Jill Callahan was a rule follower, smart, and tough. She could assess a person well. I found them to have a simple connection. I found that they worked well together. When the question of loyalties came in to play I was a bit on the fence. I was not sure which way Thomas would go. I was confident in Private Callahan.

Alpha Squad: Showdown – Sean and Erin
Sean comes in to his own and shows what he's good at. He’s all grown up and knows right, wrong and justice. This mission will find that problem that has been plaguing the shifters and to a point the squad. With the help of Erin or hindrance. Just depends on how you view things. I loved getting to know both Sean and Erin.

I do like the story. Chey and Trevor and interest, but incomplete characters. I have a sense that there are missing parts. The narrator gave me no feelings, no emotions, no connection. I just felt like it was being read instead of like a vivid picture rolling across my mind.

Covering up pain is easy. It's keeping it tucked away that's hard. I've always needed the cover of tattoos to hide the nasty past that leached its way into me, tainting me beneath my skin. My life was perfectly imperfect until Tripp. He was sexy as hell, a charismatic beast, and soon became one of my best friends. The only question left is, will we set the countryside ablaze with our hot tempers and foul mouths? Or will we paint our own happy ending filled with all the gushy shit normal people crave?

Melissa Moran gives a performance that make the rich character that Addison Cole have created take on a new life. They come off the pages with the tone laid out by Moran's voice. The audio was clean, smooth, and allowed for play speed to be increased and or decreased with ease and clarity.

The sweet, innocent, less provocative, yet still fulfilled romance of an author that I have loved for here characters both supporting and primary, story line, and the romance journey. There was less of the steam but a good clean read that can be read by beginning romance readers. I have no issue at all giving this book to my daughter to read. She loves romance and having a clean romance that still engages the mind and the senses without the overload on language and explicitly makes me still feel good. Kurt and Leanna still have that romantic heat that's cleaner, sweeter, and appropriate for more readers to enjoy. The read was still enjoyable and to be honest if I hadn’t read the original publication. I would not have missed the parts that are now missing. The romance still there. The passion between opposites. Still there. The great writing still there. All just aimed more toward a more innocent, sweeter crowd.

I found the world interesting, imaginative, a bit confusing at times, and a bit directionless. There were some good things like the historical incorporation, the character's in-between stage of life (17 yrs old),the additional characters were like a lifeline, and then there was the flow of narration. I did find things that I was not a fan of but that lead to the oddity of some of the book. I was able to finish the entire read but it was not a gobble me down and on to the next one.

Narrator/Author was not the best of narration that I have heard before. But there is something about the author narrating their own work. There was that extra feel of a connection between the words and the narration.

Cozen Taylor has more than earned her place as one of North America’s most successful thieves. Her name is whispered among criminal elite as the go-to thief when someone needs a heist. She has never failed. A call from the Miami-based Astor family could change all that with a job that seems almost impossible to complete. The mark should be simple - a stolen family heirloom, the man who has kept it hidden for more than 20 years, and six months to return the piece to its rightful owners. Nothing is ever that easy.

Cozen was just the lure I needed to find that one woman that could do the impossible, the quick or not but clean, the must need. She was the one that could accomplish it all. For this hefty pay day she was willing to make it all happen. Her contracted employer wanted no mistakes. No giveaways. No trail. Cozen was the one. The only. She could pull this off and no one would be wise to the fact she was the one to complete the job.

Conner Goff lulled you in with his diction and precise speech patterns. He was clean and easily understandable. The words flowed. The images came with the way he spoke each word. The audio was clear of hiccups and long pauses. There was a steady flow and pacing that made the audio just flow by and seem effortless.

Just from my aspect of things you really don't have to have the previous stories to fall in love here, but it will most certainly give you a broader picture of all the characters, place, and various references. You get like a lifetime of understand with this saga. You find a family that through time and place have made more of the life given to them. Then we come to this generation, Evvie and Stella both have surrounding themselves with shields. Shields for different reasons and as they two grown and become women and more they find that the shield they placed around them-self may be more of a hindrance than anything else. Watching these two young women grow in to more comes at a cost. Life hands them much, pain, sorrow, understanding, confusion, joy, love, self-awareness, and then some.

Emily Lawrence has been there from the start. She helps you to make that connection with each of the characters but in a different way. You could feel the pull of her vocals. The visual allure brings you deeper in. You find a greater desire to see what life holds for this new generation. The diction clear, the audio smooth, the emotional connection cemented.

Having a mad crush on her boss’s son, Matt Lacroux - an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy - is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt’s life is hours away from Mira’s home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

Whispers at Seaside was a dual POV with a great duo narration (Ardnt and York) that makes you want to step in and get more out of it all. This way you have more than just the surface of things. You can see the heart of it all and the deep emotional effect that go with both Mira and Matt. There was so much love, compassion, passion, emotion, and more.

You have found a sweet romance that filled with tender moments and an undeniable passion without the explicit nature. No matter the context this was on sexy, hot professor and a single, sassy mother. I have to give kudos and more to Melissa Foster. She gives a beautiful written story with each new offering. I have over the course of this last year fallen in love with her characters from the complete Love in Bloom multi-series series. Each new couple have the own individual struggles, needs, desires, hopes and dreams. This one was no exception.

I fell head over heels in love with Mira and Matt. Mira stole my heart because of her sense of self and her soft pride and respect for who she was and what she wanted. Matt, Mira and Hagen have a place with me. It was their interaction with each other that gave the setting a bit more. Matt and Mira both were dealing with a lot of things and the gradual growing relationship gave a bit of stability to their friendship. Having both sides of their perspectives shared made the story that much more enjoyable. We were able to get down to the heart of things.
