Puerto-Rican, American Liliana Serrano has never been one to let others determine her future -certainly not her pack of three overprotective brothers. She always stands on her own, which is exactly how she entered her arrangement with Adam Aquilani. The hot formula one driver is aloof, detached, and not interested in relationships. Fresh off a broken engagement with a cheating fiancé, no-strings-attached sex was just what she needed. Except one year later, she never expected their hook-ups to have consequences.

Tis one of the worst audio recording I have ever heard. The narration is bland. The re is now feeling. It just feels like you reading out loud instead of being emerged it this high tension romance with drama. I very much like the story but the poor audio makes it hard to full enjoy. There are multiple places of repetitoon. Various hiccups. Long pauses.

Shari Peele does a good job with the narration but I was wanting a more masculine Aidan Westmoreland.

I love romance. I love all kinds of romance. I love the protective nature the goes in to a relationship that starts with adversity. I love when two strong individuals will breakdown every door, obstacle placed in their way to have that one person to make them more. I love Drew and Trent. I loved them both individually when I first met them. I loved them now when they have both been through so much. I loved their first book. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their second one. They have made a statement, cleaned up a mess, righted a wrong or two, helped charity, opened doors, showed devotion, protection, and love.

I found #Junkie to be one of the hottest MM romance around but now I get to had #Rev to the list. This was a scorching hot MM NA romance that pushes you to turn the next page or listen that extra few minutes. You will find that you have a connection with these two. Their was so much between them and the way the Hebert describes it all makes you feel. I mean really feel like you could help them change the world. Be there to be support. Be there to be a friends. Be there to show you have their back.

I love this series and the writing the Hebert so effortlessly places on the pages. The narration duo does their job just as well. The provide the voice needed to feel connected to the world that Hebert created and allows you to feel as if you are in that part of the country and seeing it all unfold.

The sirens of Griffins Bay are in trouble, and the recent slew of royal suicides looks to be the least of their worries. For one, unless a blood relative of the queen shows up, no one's around to staff the monarchy. Well, except for a whack-job bureaucrat and he seriously won't do. Worse is the community unrest threatening siren society, a problem caused by too many humans in the pool, which means Simon and his off-limit girlfriend will have to run and hide if they want to make more of their flirtation....

Twist-n-turns, not fillers necessary . . . caution read/listen book one first. In book one you get a lot of the background of both the world and the various characters that surround Kate and the Blake family as a whole. Now the story takes on an extra level of mystery, suspense, adventure, romance, fantasy, myths. From forbidden to friends to lovers to running for more than just today. In the second installment in the Mer Chronicles I still get all that I loved about he first book. Small-towns, mermaids/sirens, romance, suspense, and more.

You get some serious changes going on in the mer/human world. We have more characters old and new. We have a deeper plot. We have more going on. We have an extra layer of all the above and more. I can say no more than to make sure you read/listen to book one first. The writing is great. The narrator does a very good job bringing to life the hard work of the author.

I LOVE romance. I LOVE small-town romance. I LOVE the not ordinary. Now, imagine adding in mermaids, small-town, young girl, super hot guy, and a mystery.

I eased myself in to this one slowly. I found sorrow, pain, mystery, excitement, suspense, secrets, myths. Kate and Cara move to a small-town after the death of her father. Cara needs a change and feels Kate needs the same. A chance comes there way and on the way to a new town they go. Soon Cara falls in love and Kate finds a long time friend. But things change in ways that Kate did not anticipate. She feel distant from her mom and even from the new friends she have acquired since moving to town. There was something going on that she was not privy to.

The story moves along and things are slow to be revealed but at the same time the pacing was just right for the story itself. There are good characters all the way through the story. Some you love, like and are indifferent to. I enjoyed the build and lulls and even the anticipation of things.

Narrator Sean Posvistak gave me a fantastic read. The voicing was there with tone, pitch, and diction. The audio was smooth and clear. Things kept pace with my changing of the speed of the audio. I did not feel out of step and the clarity was still there.

The world rich, intriguing, filled with secrets, danger, lies, deceit, and malice. This world one young girl finds she has to navigate by being a dual individual. A world this young girl finds lures her in deeper and deeper. She fights for her family (sister) and her country. There was a dual POV but not the way I was expecting it to be. Kali was so much and so little all at the same time. She was Lady Lianna and Kal a male trainee. There were layers and depth in this one. There was more that could have been revealed.

Narrator Hayden Daviau opened up some doors with the diction and flow of the narration. You could almost feel like you were in Kali's shoes while this part of the adventure was taking place. The ebb and flow of the audio was clear, clean and gave you a sense of experiencing it right before your eyes.

I was not impressed with the story in the end. At the beginning I was enjoying the young vampire princess having to go out on her own to make a choice to direct her life. Then I got to see the males offered and felt that she was going to have a difficult task on her hand. Then it changed and I wondered why she could not have them all. They each gave something different yet vital to the new realm that would come to power. With each new addition to the serial I became more discouraged with the story being told. It had high points and low, low points. I loved the strength and sacrifice. I was displeased with some of the other various elements of the serial stories. Things in some places felt incomplete.

Narrator Lucy Laurel did a good job giving voice to each of the characters and allowing for enough distinction to know who was saying what. The audio was clear with only few minor hiccups.
