I love this dio narration team. they ticked all the boxes for me. the man sounded likereal strong, take charge men. the woman still were strong unique and feminine.

After getting entangled in the second book of this series, I just had to go back to book one and find all the little pieces that I was missing from the second installment. I was not disappointed. This was a good one. Betrayal. Lies. Deceit. Family. Backstabbing.

Characters, landscapes, relationships, friendships, dangers, music, beauty, combined with a plot steeped with suspense, action, intrigue, and more. I was drawn in on this one and look forward to find out more of what these characters find themselves in next.

Narrator Wayne Farrell allowed me to feel transported to the time and place. I enjoyed the cadence of his voice the lulls and highs and even the lilt of Irish. I felt almost like home and an adventure all wrapped up in one. I would very much listen to more of his narrations. This audio and this narrator would be the perfect way to gain additional followers for this series.

One exciting exploration in a world of copied humans, advanced humans, protective humans, a world like none we know of. Or is it? Could this be the world to come? I was excited and allured by the depth and details of this world shared via first person POV. It was filled with action, intensity, fantasy, intrigue. There was a world like one could image would come to take place if various science and genetic copying was to be permitted openly. There are many things to draw you in, but for me it was from the beginning and jumping of that enormous building to the ground and engaging the enemy, alone.

The narration pair did a good job trading off and bring in their own styles and level of complexity that makes you feel like you are experiencing the world first hand. The two voices makes for an engaging listen. I anticipate the next audio release of the series. Listening to the book allowed for the pictures of the words to just come to life in my mind. Allowing me to make a deeper connection with the characters, the world, the story.

I was captivated by this one. I got a very good narrator with a story that lured me in to the dark world of crime, problem solving, beauty, her smile, her dance. Bethany-Kris brings the dirty, dirty to the pages of romance. She builds a quality story behind the darkness. Her story had life on its own but with the quality of the narrator you can see the images in your head and still do you daily chores.

The journey of father time from youth to older. The trials and tribulations show that there was lots of imagination placed behind this second installment. What connects me most would be the descriptions and the narration. You could feel the connection of the narrator/author to the story. You cold feel the power of the emotions and the relationship of the story. I found the second installment to have a bit more focus and clarity. But the narration and the audio quality was a bit echo sounding. Wait let me clarify. The background sounded like you were in a tunnel with the audio place over it. Its kind of hard to expalin.

Updated and de-caveman. I read lots of Jeanne St. James' stories. I read this one years ago under its original name and then it was just a little something under-whelming about the two scarred people and the story they weaved together. I always felt like there were somethings missing from the story. I know. Its a short, what could be missing. Well, I feel with the new added pieces things don't seem so far off. These are two damaged souls, physically and mentally, that find each other in all of their messed-up-ness. The forge a connection with each other and they both find something new does not always mean hurt. But neither knew the way their past would comeback and try hard to take away the new they were working on building.

I found it very honorable that an author that was willing to go back an revise work that was already created and made it better. 'Banged Up' got a new title and an uplift to the drama, action, and intensity this quickie brought.

Narration was matching the story with clarity and the flow/cadence of the diction Easy to follow along and increase the audio speed. This was no slow pace ride. Things moved fast and the audio allowed the listener to keep pace, at their own pace.

I so loved me some sexy marine in uniform (not just any, but dress uniform) Nettie was in for one hell of a ride. This man knew exactly what he was after and how to go about getting her. Ashton Sinclair was a man on a mission. A mission he knew would be his for the taking.

The narration in general was good but the dialogue portion felt stilted especially when it came to the male aspect of it and Ashton Sinclair. There were gaps and break points in my audio. It felt like it was audio issue from the beginning until mid way through the audio.

I love shifters, especially hot sexy, protective, confusing shifters. Now the shifters are out of the shadows and in to the light. With the help of Audrey Lusk, Lorelei Moone brings some of her fan-favs to us with clarity, smooth flow of audio, and a layer of connection on multiple levels. The audio was a bonus for those that have read it or not. You can continue on with your day an get a good listen with a good set of various characters, friends and foes.

Alpha Squad Collection of novellas was fun filled, some action, some intensity, some suspense, some shifting, some entanglements collection of Alpha, attractive, sexy, strong, protective, hot males shifters and a female or two. This was a complete series read with all the books in one place and one tap to have the next page on the screen. This made for a smooth reading afternoon early evening read.

Alpha Squad: Boot Camp – Eric and Janine
Eric and Adam find that they are heading for a new world of adventure and love. Eric just never expected that he would be working so close to the one that would be his for life. Janine has been chosen to help with the leading of the Alpha Squad. She just never expected to find that she would have so much to gain or lose all in one assignment.

Alpha Squad: Friends & Foes – Adam and Felicity
Adam, may just have to help put down his mate, Felicity. He knows deep down that she belongs to him and she could not be behind the attacks on humans. She determined to find out who was trying to frame her people for the attacks on the humans that were taking place so close to where there of unwanted shifters are located. Someone was out to get her and the shifters and make them pay for crimes they had no part in.

Alpha Squad: Infiltrator – Thomas and Jill
Thomas had me from the first book in this series. I found him to be enthusiastic and easy going. Private Jill Callahan was a rule follower, smart, and tough. She could assess a person well. I found them to have a simple connection. I found that they worked well together. When the question of loyalties came in to play I was a bit on the fence. I was not sure which way Thomas would go. I was confident in Private Callahan.

Alpha Squad: Showdown – Sean and Erin
Sean comes in to his own and shows what he's good at. He’s all grown up and knows right, wrong and justice. This mission will find that problem that has been plaguing the shifters and to a point the squad. With the help of Erin or hindrance. Just depends on how you view things. I loved getting to know both Sean and Erin.
