In Wyrd Sisters, the enchanting world of Discworld is turned upside down by 3 meddling witches: Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick. Their interference in royal politics causes kingdoms to wobble, crowns to topple, knives to flash, and citizens to shudder in fear.

Problems with the sound engineering
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The volume is unstable so that in one paragraph, the narrator is all breathy whispers I can barely hear and the next is a shriek that nearly deafens me. Audible needs to offer an alternate recording of this book.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Granny Weatherwax. She is iconic.
How could the performance have been better?
Better sound engineering
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I loved the book, it was the performance was I have problems with.
Any additional comments?
PLEASE get an alternate version! Or correct the sound problems with this one.

Using a travel guide format, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee acts as tour guide extraordinaire, describing and critiquing every aspect of this territory she knows so well: its people (young and old, male and female), familiar phrases ("purl this, darn that"), strange beliefs, currency (skein trading), etiquette, holidays (any sale day at the local yarn shop), and customs. She notes important dates in knitting history and celebrates unsung knitting heroes.
