Way WAY to short. Always want more of both authors. Really love having long books from them too. Hope we see more of Pendergast's "partner" working with him again. new series maybe with Native American historical context?

Would you try another book from Gigi Pandian and/or Allyson Ryan?

I like Gigi's Gargoyle mysteries much better. Allyson's poor narration of men's voices gets in the way. Just not convincingly done.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Artifact?

Zero. Very little suspense. Can't even say it was a cozy romance. Sorry!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Allyson Ryan?

Don't know the narrator's available.

Do you think Artifact needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Not interested, but I did have them in my wish list.

If you could sum up The Guilty in three words, what would they be?

Horror, Hope, Heart

What did you like best about this story?

The subtle nuances that sneak up on you. The impact of one's past upon one's present and future.
Forgiveness and love conquers all. Loyalty, friendship, and have someone to count on when you are in pain -- physical and emotional.

What does Kyf Brewer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well, voices! Also a sense of action and urgency or calm in spite of the storm of chaos surrounding the situation.
