In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child - not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring, like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power - the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. I read a lot of good books but this book was different. It caught hold of my imagination and moved me in a way that a book hasn’t moved me in a long time. It was beautiful. Touching. Greek mythology with new blood seen from the eyes of a woman

This is a perfect example of the emperors clothes. This book felt masturbatory in its deliverance - a lot of fun for the author but nothing really satisfying for the reader. So. much. detail. And nothing to gain from it. Simply disappointing.
