T.H.U.G is a window into opposite worlds, white and black. It's about sacrifices made, sometimes unknowingly, when straddling two worlds. In a time when discord between races and opposition between citizens and the police is becomming the norm, "The Hate U Give" is a story that humanizes all sides.
