I had read the eBook before listening to this audible version. It's amazing how something you already know can be so like new when you hear it brought to life. Lily Collingwood perfectly delivers the magic of Bethany Claire's pen. Not only are there new characters in the book, but it's also set in a new location....somewhere we haven't been in the Morna's Legacy Series. We do have the familiarity of Morna and Jerry. But what a delight it is getting to know Eleanor and Monroe. The story is short but oh so sweet. I recommend it to anyone whether you've already read any of Bethany Claire's books or not. This book is not dependent on any of the previous storylines.

The book had already become my new favorite in the Morna’s Legacy series after I read it. I didn’t think I could love it anymore until I listened to it on Audible. I won’t say anything in this review that will reveal any of the plot for the benefit of those who may not have read the book.

But there were parts of the story that when I heard them just really made the scenes come to life for me. Whether you’ve read the book or not I highly encourage you to listen to this Audible version. I think what I enjoy most is that unlike while reading the book where you must focus on the words, when listening to the Audible version you can totally get lost in the book… you can close your eyes ... you can wrap your arms around yourself ... you can snuggle up with a pillow ... you can free your hands and free your mind and let the story take over!

This is certainly the coolest audio book I’ve ever listened to! While I don’t usually replay my audio books, this one I will be listening to frequently. It is short, sweet, and sassy!

The music is so smooth and the narration is perfect. I would recommend this audiobook to absolutely everyone. And make sure you listen to the very end!

Laurel's life bears no resemblance to the love stories she writes. While handsome heroes are easy to imagine, they're much more difficult to find. Years of bad dates with creepy men have left her feeling cynical toward all things related to love. When she and her best friend find themselves caught up in Morna's meddling magic and are transported to 17th-century Scotland, Laurel meets a man who threatens to change her attitude toward matters of the heart.

What did you love best about Love Beyond Words: A Scottish Time Travel Romance?

What I loved best about Love Beyond Words was that it surprisingly took the Morna's Legacy Series in a brand new direction. I loved how it took two new characters who were introduced in Love Beyond Reach and transported them to the 17th century to a new part of Scotland with many new characters.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how the new story had elements of both Morna's magic that we're familiar with and combined it with magic from new sources including some super natural characters.

What about Lily Collingwood’s performance did you like?

Lily Collingwood took an eBook that I had already read and fallen in love with to new heights! Right from the beginning- the way she articulated the conversations between the two sisters was so real. It reminded me of wonderful talks I've had with my own sisters.

Bethany Claire had introduced several new characters in this book. Lily Collingwood's performance of the many new male voices as well as the voices of the two new female supernatural characters was so well done and so believable.

This book was like ear candy. It was very tastefully done. I highly recommend the audible version of Love Beyond Words.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was a moment that really moved me that I won't go into detail about because I don't like spoilers, but witnessing the lengths a character went through to save the man she loved...where she had to call upon all of her wit and acting skills was outstanding.

Any additional comments?

This was truly a magical love story...love between two sisters, love between good friends, learning how to love one's self and an incredible happily ever after romance. Buy this audio book!

I read the e-book when it came out a few weeks ago and loved it. I had no idea I could love it even more. But there is something phenomenal that happens when one of Bethany Claire’s books is in the hands of Lily Collingwood!

As a hopeless romantic I enjoy the fact that there is a happily ever after in all of Bethany Claire’s books. What I love even more about this novella is that this is the love story of an older couple. I could relate so much more because they are so much closer in age to myself.

Lily Collingwood did an excellent job. So many times while listening I could just close my eyes and feel the story come alive. That is what I really love about the Audible experience. I don’t need my hands or my eyes to progress through the story. All I need is my ears. It’s wonderful having this whole other sensory experience!

I highly recommend this audible book.

All Morna Conall wants is freedom - freedom to practice and learn about the magic inside her. Perhaps then her world wouldn't feel so small. When she finds the spell books and journals of an old mentor, Morna believes she's found the key to her happiness, but when she crosses paths with an injured man in need of help, her plans are derailed. As she spends more time with the strange but alluring man, her dreams change. Maybe magic isn't the only thing capable of expanding her world.

I had read the e-book prior to listening to the audiobook. I had already loved the story. But somehow listening to it, as performed by Lily Collingwood, took 'Love Beyond Reach' to a whole new level for me.

It's almost like watching a movie that you already loved in digital cinema and then going to see it in extreme XD or IMAX. What I really loved about this audiobook is Lilly Collingwood's ability to deliver so many different male and female voices in such believable Scottish accents.

There were times when I felt like I was in a room with the characters and listening to their conversations.... that's how real her narration made it seem. I will admit that the one character that I had to get used to was the voice of the present day (elderly) Jerry. That voice probably sounded most different than I had imagined that it would.

Another thing I really enjoyed about this audiobook was the ability to close my eyes and totally immerse myself into the story. I felt as though I experienced parts of the story through listening that I missed while reading.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. In summary, I honestly thoroughly enjoyed and loved it.

Would you listen to Love Beyond Measure again? Why?

Without question. It had me spellbound - which is why my review title states that "...Bethany and Lily have magic." I downloaded the book just after the polls closed on Super Tuesday. I did nothing else but take potty breaks until I'd finished it! If I thought the story was powerful when I read the ebook, I had no idea how it would capture and hold me while listening to it via audible.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love Beyond Measure?

I'm going to challenge myself to word this to avoid the risk of presenting a spoiler - my most memorable moment was when Charles was walking Grace to the most magical day of her life and he shared with her how his wife let him know the depths of how/why she thought of Grace as their own daughter. I honestly cried as I listened to that part.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are many....to pick one would require putting them all in a hat and picking one randomly...and again it's hard to answer this question without presenting a spoiler, so I'll try to word it in a way as not to do so....the scene when Cooper knew he was facing imminent danger and the plans he made to face it and thwart it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely....although I hadn't planned to do that when I first clicked on 'listen now' that is what happened. I downloaded the book on my smartphone after I left my polling place on Super Tuesday...started listening to it on my drive home, continued listening to it as I entered the house and got settled and remained comfortably seated on the comfy couch in my office until it was finished....stopping only for bathroom breaks.

Any additional comments?

I think this book presented the greatest challenge for Lily Collingwood to try to adequately represent the voice of a phenomenal child like Cooper. At the beginning I wasn't sure it met what I had conjured up in my mind that he would sound like after having read the ebook. But by the time I'd gotten half-way through the audible book, I was sold.

This story was like new as I listened to it. Many times throughout my listening experience, I closed my eyes and got lost in what Lily was saying/how she delivered the story. When you're reading a traditional book or an ebook and you get to a point where you want to close your eyes at a particularly moving scene, the story stops until you can open your eyes and continue reading. But when you're listening, the story never stops....you can surrender to your emotions and continue experiencing the story. I cried, smiled and laughed while listening. At times...especially during the love scenes, I imagined myself reacting to the things that EO was saying to Grace and I felt the love.

I would highly recommend this book to all fans of the Morna's Legacy series. If anyone who is unfamiliar with the series gets their hands on it, I recommend experiencing the books in order. This is book 4 of a series of 7 (soon to be 8).

Love is the most powerful kind of magic. Baodan McMillan values many things in life: friendship, loyalty, kindness, but certainly not love. After the tragic death of his wife many years ago, he hardened himself to the idea of giving his heart to another. There is only one lass who can thaw his chilly heart, a lass he's never met nor knows of, a lass whose birth won't occur until centuries after his death.

This audio book brought all of my senses to life! Although it was with my ears that I was in touch with the story, something about this book made me feel like I could 'see' the characters more vividly and the action I 'felt' more strongly causing my heart rate to increase and so many of my emotions peaked as I listened to each chapter one after the other.

While I loved the entire book, the love scenes between the two main characters were my favorite part. They were so well written by Bethany and so well voiced by Lily that I closed my eyes while listening to those tender moments and could imagine seeing them acted out on a cinema screen.

The book was the audio equivalent of a page turner! I would recommend the book to anyone who not only loves a great love story, but especially to those who enjoy seeing love conquer obstacles.

The only thing I didn't like about my experience is that the next book in the series is not available for my immediate enjoyment.

I just started listening to audible books this year. A Conall Christmas is my third one. I had already read the e-book but I honestly believe that I got a whole different perspective by listening to the book. In my opinion this book is really about an unlikely/improbable relationship that became a beautiful love story.

Romance is my favorite type of book. So I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story. While I already knew the story line from having read the e-book, the quality of the narrator's voice and the flexibility of her voice which allows her to represent the different characters so well, added so much to this novella.

Would you consider the audio edition of Love Beyond Reason: A Scottish, Time-Traveling Romance to be better than the print version?

Yes I had already read the eBook version of Love Beyond Reason a few months ago. But I have been looking forward to the audio version. I knew I would love being able to close my eyes and listen to the story. I thought that might give me an even deeper enjoyment. And it did not disappoint when I got my audio book yesterday. I stayed up all night listening to it; I just couldn't stop. When I started it around 10 PM, I was multitasking doing email and other things online on my laptop while I was listening. I had also downloaded it to my smart phone so when I was ready for bed I continued listening to it. But I was enjoying it so much I didn't allow myself to go to sleep. The storyteller's voice is very calming and pleasing. Hearing her pronounce some of the names I struggled with while reading the eBook was a real treat. I loved the book the first go-round. I loved it even more on audio.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how it built on the 1st book and you can see the possibilities for other stories growing out of book 2.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Blair found out that Arran really did not receive her letter and she realizes that he did not abandon her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes when Arran explained to Blair how she was the only woman that he was ever able to totally give himself to and he told her how he wanted to worship her.

Any additional comments?
