I have listened to almost all of this series, and I am waiting for this author to stop always placing the blame on the guy. No matter how the woman acts somehow its always the guys fault. The guy was correct in not telling his friend, until he was sure. Then the girl who swears its just sex puts it all on him because-she now has feelings. She should of put on her big girl panties and truly stood up to her brother. Telling him if he couldn’t but out then he could be excluded from her life all together. If she had their wouldn’t of been a need to hide the relationship. This and almost every book has been the woman’s issue and the author keeps putting it on the men.... argh.

She ran from a past that still hasn't let her go, but her dream of becoming a lawyer is stronger than her fear of confronting that past. Embry's sole focus is to get through law school, with the help of her best friend, Morgan, and make something of the broken girl she became. Not thinking about falling in love, being in a relationship or even entertaining the idea of romance, Embry is moving forward one day at a time.

Thought this story could of been fantastic, but writing Embry so weak and wishy washy frustrated the crap outta of me. Come on she is a 1st year law student, but cant handle any kind of confrontation....I get drawing a story out, but using the Im not grown up enough to actually talk about things drives me a but batty. They aren’t high school students.

Marko Sendoa isn't a beach man. He's not an Auckland man. He's a hard man. Born Basque, raised in the heart of New Zealand's Southern Alps, and bred on hard work, discipline, and getting the job done. It's not easy for a rugby flanker to make it to age 32 at the top of his game, but he's done it. Next year is the Rugby World Cup, and he'll do whatever it takes to be on the field in the black jersey when the anthems are sung. He doesn't need a kitten. He doesn't need a pregnant cousin. He definitely doesn't need a too-short, distractingly curvy, totally unimpressed Maori barista.
