She has never forgotten the serial killer who wove lines of poetry in his hideous crimes - and apparently he has not forgotten her. Former LAPD detective Harry Bosch gets a call, too - from the widow of an old friend. Her husband's death seems natural, but his ties to the hunt for the Poet make Bosch dig deep.

Sounds in background very distracting! Almost returned book but for the great storyline & narrator. But as we listened (my wife Ruthie and I listen together and have been for about 12 years now) it became so wonderful and well narrated that we just couldn't give Narrows more than one star down because of the noise in the background. But please no more noise! It only distracts doesn't give any to the atmosphere (We guess that was the hope?). Thanks for this wonderful book!
