Today, Meister Eckhart (ca. 1260 - 1328) is recognized as one of the most significant mystics. Yet his spiritual doctrine is not easy to comprehend and has, at times, been misunderstood - even condemned. Now, you are invited to delve deeply into Eckhart's spiritual wisdom. As you will learn, Eckhart remains the outstanding representative of Germany's medieval Rhineland mysticism. While our knowledge of Eckhart's life is limited, we can see that he was an active mystic in his preaching, teaching, and writing.

Dubbed the "Dumb Ox" by his classmates for his shyness, Saint Thomas Aquinas proved to be possessed of the rarest brilliance, justifying the faith of his teacher, Albertus Magnus, and sparking a revolution in Christian thought. Chesterton's unsurpassed examination of Aquinas' thinking makes his philosophy accessible to listeners of any generation.

Are you seeking a deeper understanding of consciousness? Are you interested in meditation or currently practicing meditation? The Buddha and the Quantum is about the connection between meditation and physics. Many books show parallels between consciousness and physics; a few of these attempt to explain consciousness in terms of the physics of everyday experience. This is the only book that explains physics and the everyday world in terms of consciousness alone.

Great unravelling of what underlies apparent duality leading to knowing who you really are---Consciousness.

I would recommend it as a book of meditation in conjunction with the audible version, as his reading carries the real teacher's punch to 'get it'.
