I liked book one (which I had Alexa read to me) and found the set of three in audio, so I figured I'd continue with the next two books. I listened to a couple chapters and discovered I preferred the computer's voice. Sad. I don't know if it was the narrator or the author, but it wasn't as entertaining as book one. I had to return it.

Lily Ivory and her friends are planning a 1950s-themed brunch to benefit the local women's shelter. When a figure from her past shows up unannounced, threatening her unless she returns something that belonged to him, Lily's fiance, Sailor, steps in to defend her. After the same man is found dead later that day, Sailor is the primary suspect. He swears he's innocent, but multiple witnesses ID him as the perpetrator of the assault. Lily vows to clear his name...only she's not sure where to start with the mounting evidence against him.

I love all of Ms.Blackwell's Witchcraft Mysteries Series books. Looking forward to many more. They are fun stories. Light and enjoyable. I listened to this one on a 15 hour road trip and lost total track of time. It was great! Really "shortened" the drive.
